In relation to Post Private Lobby Race Results Online
This suggestion is for the addition of Clubs/Leagues into the FM8 game. I couldn’t find a suggestion around this, so hopefully this isn’t a duplicate.
This feature would include Drivers being labeled as a Club Admin as well as Club Members, and possibly some moderator level but I think it is not necessary. At least one Admin should be active in a Club, and ideally more allowed.
Club Admins should be able to add Members, and have access to “Club” race types to include Practice, Qualifying, and Race, ideally so that results of these specific club race types can be saved for a period of time (probably to not last more than 1 month).
Club Admins should be able to promote Club Members to Club Moderators, and remove club moderators and members from the club. Club Moderators should have the ability to remove Members from the Club. Club Moderators should not be able to promote or demote user levels.
For simplicity at this time, I think making results available somewhere like the support page would be sufficient, but no in game viewing of club results besides for the current post-race results page, and maybe a toast for “Published Results to Forza” when results have been uploaded.
When an Admin or Moderator create a Club specific private lobby, non-club members should actively be removed, and not allowed to join.
Race Setup Templates should have an option to be “Club” level, and shared with members of the club automatically for the purpose of individuals practicing on their own which brings up an edge case…
If we can report/publish results, we should make that a toggle defaulted to false. Only Moderators or Admins should have the ability to enable, and a confirmation message should be applied for the sake of data storage costs.
I can’t think of other use cases, but maybe someone else will chime in, or maybe it’s a duplicate post and I’m a newb.
