Cinematic tools in the game

Throughout FH5’s livecycle we have seen some trailes for the new cars being added from the festival playlists, these trailers are good, specially with the cinematic tools, it would be great if this feature will come to the public, for the community to enjoy and make some awesome clips (in comparison to what we have now, we can only use the photomode and the drone mode).
The method could be quite simple:
-you record an in-game clip (maybe with the rewind option)

  • when the clip is saved, it will be stored on your gallery (just like with the photos you take)
  • on your personal gallery (or editor) you can have the ability to edit the clip, add more clips, maybe add the in-game songs and upload it (to the in-game gallery Youtube or the forza website if the accounts are linked)
  • within the clip editing section, you could change the camera position and move it just like you want it, tweak the camera shake, blend the camera movement aswell as blendind different clips, and the normal options from the photomode (contrast, brightness, saturation, aperture, shutter speed)
  • there would be a turorial for people to undestand how to use it properly

For exposition, GTA V and its Rockstar Editor feature is a great example, I hope FH5 (or the next FH) has something like this. Would like to know what do you all think about this

Great Idea! This would inprove the game a 1000 times.

If horizon is a game that puts emphasis on its community this is a needed feature.

Horizon has photography mode and everyone loves taking pics in these games. So its not a feature just for the content creators but for the whole community.
The same way cinematic tools would be an amazing addition. The devs got lots of tools in their disposal id love to see some them being implemented in the game.

Yes!

Hi Playground Games,
If you could add a fly/free camera mode replay editing feature to Forza Horizon 6, it would be greatly appreciated by your community :star_struck:
The ability to record and edit clips for our YouTube channels would be greatly facilitated.
(A bit like director mode in GTA for example)
Cheers!
