Choosing "unlocked" without vsync only works when running the game in windowed mode

Hi,

I’m running the game on windows 11 with a geforce 1070 GTX everything on low. I had chosen unlocked without the mention of vsync in the game, but the game seems to stay locked at 60 fps in fullscreen on places where i can reach above 60 fps. I can notice this in the menu’s as well as on certain location on the game tracks (like in rivals or so when there are no ai drivers). When i press alt+enter fps gets unlocked. I added the game to nvidia control panel and forced vsync off there but it has no effect on the game and the issue remains the same. So it may seem that at least on my pc vsync is always on in fullscreen when choosing unlocked.

I think something in windows or so must be causing this but i have yet to identify the culprit.

Is anyone else seeing this ?

Hey i actually just found a workaround for my issue where fps would remain locked to my monitors refresh rate even though i had chosen unlocked in fps target. If i pin a widget in game bar to make it always visible (i did not test to see if the opacity has to be set to partially see through) when i play the game in the fullscreen, the fps actually unlocks and goes beyond 60 (my monitor refresh rate). i tested this in rivals mode though not online (as that probably still has the fps cap which seems to be normal). But at least now i know my fps lock even though when choosing unlocked might be related to game bar / game mode somehow and the game.

Tengo el mismo problema con VSINC desbloqueado sigue en maximo 60FPS mi equipo puede dar mas de 80FPS en modo ventana…
Tienes razon con la solucio provisional…
Activo XBOX GAME BAR pongo cualquier Widtget en pantalla completa Ejemplo: Reloj analogico y ya suben los FPS me está dando de media 80FPS con tres pantalla 5760x1080 todo en Medios con FSR en Equilbrado…
