I have been busy playing and tuning a few cars in Fm7 and I think I am starting to get a feel for tuning. But as this is the first time I have tuned properly in years on a Forza title, I am still not sure I am doing it right. I have a nice car atm and Im able to stonk “unbeatable” AI with it at most tracks, but I get the feeling I am not quite there yet with finding the “right” setup for the car. Plus I am still not fast enough
yet personally so I am not sure of how “good” the car really is.
So I would like to enlist your help if possible and test out my car and tell me how it performs in someone elses hands.
The car in question is the 1988 Lambo Jalpa. Tune is listed as “Jalpa V8” and can be found with my gamertag. My main issue is gearing. Specific tracks need an adjustment to the final ratio, which I get no problem. The issue for me is making sure I have the individual gears set properly for my cars power & torque in the first place, so that final ratio adjustments are all that is in fact required per track. Currently I am using Bathurst and Brands Hatch to test and setup so the car should perform well at these tracks.
Im not trying to make the uberest of uber cars for leaderboard times. Just trying to actually get it right, so from now on I can be confident on what I am doing.
