The Chaparral and the Mclaren M8b needs a nerf or ban from open class racing. Im so sick of these two cars in multiclass racing. Theres no reason average drivers can pick up these cars and destroy the lobby by 30-40 seconds. 1 They are too fast for S class period. 2. They have sport tires and since they are super light they dont burn through them. These two cars are seriously broken and I don’t know whose idea it was to make vintage race cars this fast and let them be in S class but its a terrible idea. Elemental, Shelby Monaco and GT40 is right behind it. If you’re not going to nerf them just ban them from open class lobbies.
The idea is right but the target not so much.
The target should be an overhaul of the PI system so that cars are “where they belong” in the PI range. Two cars with the same PI rating should have the same performance potential on most tracks.
With the current system there will always be a dominant car in open class lobbies, the only way to get true performance balancing is with spec series.

They wont be this dominant. I can beat elementals, monacos, gt40s and 97 911 gt1 metas. These two are untouchable unless I go against my own beliefs and get one of the two.
Unfortunately the thread has now been placed here in no-man’s-land.
The 3 can-Am cars simply have no place in S (the Nissan is only slightly slower).
I can manage against the Elemental, 911 GT1 or GT40/330 P4 even with some unusual stuff like this:
But the Chap & M8B are untouchable - especially because they are ultra easy to drive.

Yeah I just decided if they are in the lobby I wont race them. They are too op for multiclass especially on the sport tires so they dont have to pit.
