I was just completing the seasonal championship and for some reason the whole point system seemed to be broken.
In the first race I finished second with one of my friends AI finishing first (lets call them AI 1)
In the second race I again finished second with a different AI finishing first (AI 2)
Before starting the last race I went to check how my position in the championship (I should have been first) however AI 2 was somehow first with 40 points, the only way they could get 40 is if they won both of the races which they didn’t. I wasn’t too bothered as I could still win the championship.
I then won the third race with AI 2 finishing 10th, after the race I went to check how many points behind AI 2 was and they somehow had 18 points which meant they came 10th in the championship.
Are championships just broken or do the AI change names between races?
I’ve seen names change in a championship, one name even disappeared completely, and they were winning, because I check which name I need to beat. I changed car, and I think it triggered a bug. Something to do with the car not being in the same category as before, yet allowed in this championship. The Ai then chose new cars, and the winning Ai vanished.
Yeah I think it is tied to the car that you use, I used multiple cars in the championship which meant that the AI did to. I did another championship and didn’t switch car and the AI never changed names.
You should log a ticket explaining such, looks like a bug to me. Even drivatars there should be consistency between races about the calculation of score. Would be better if you can demonstrate it by screenshots in ticket, most of time it is the only way tickets are actually considered ( when fact cannot be challenged )
