So i finished up a championship series last night, i had three races left to do from where i left off on a previous night. The end came and said congratulations on your podium finish. I paused and said wait what? i finished in first for each of the 4 races and it showed me with 80 points! Yet some drivatar some how finished with 88 points causing me to only get second. Not a big deal if i can go and redo it but kind of pisses me off as it has tarnished my streak of finishing in 1st for every race i have done. Wish i took a pic of the leader boards but it did not dawn on me until after i had already hit next and moved on. Any one else have this happen?

So now the AI can skip checkpoints and get extra points somewhere? Where did the points come from if there is an 80 point limit on the road trips.
20 points per event max * 4 events = 80 points total
The mathis super simple and yet somehow the AI managed to screw it up?

I remember this on another thread, I believe its an error on the devs part as PPi explains it cant be done logically -__-
ive won every championship the first time (had about three scares out of 70ish done so far) and it would be a bit annoying to lose that…
Yeah it completely caught me off guard, 4 races with 20 points max for first and yet the AI had 88 points. Thankfully it seems people are confirming that you can do championship events over. do u have to wait till after the finale? or can i do it when ever (for the most part) couldnt find it yesterday but that might be because i have to drive back to the festival for the end of day party then it will show up the next day in game, hopefully. Which i did and snapped a pic of the screen showing the results for the events, showed me as runner up, sadly it doesnt show the scores from that event though. had to stop playing right after that so i have not had a chance to look at the map again to see if the event is available again. As far i have played, thankfully as well i have not seen any AI skip checkpoints, but not looking forward to that happening if im playing on Pro or higher.
You can access all your races from the Rivals tab in the Pause Menu. Look for the Festival Routes tile.

This is for rivals, is it not? To redo the actual championship you’d have to travel to the location you were in and simply pick the championship for that car again. You will know which one it is because instead of a giant golden 1st it will have a 2nd in its place.
Do you know if i have to finish the Horizon festival first to see this? i checked last night and where the icon is for the Niice series i did, it just says " Use Festival Services " I didnt actually go to it, but it did not say anything about placement finish on the icon. I swear i have gone to a previous beat series before and i dont remember seeing a redo championship when there, but i could be wrong. But im thinking it just becomes another place to access your garage. But i still have 6 more championship series to complete before i get to the finale…
I had this happen once as well. When I looked at the results, It seems that one of the AI racers entered the race twice and was getting both sets of points. In my case I caught it in time and just selected restart for the last race and only had to redo the final race,
