Making the Challenge Hub more varied with skill-based tasks.
I know that the Challenge Hub just started, which I’m happy about, but I have an idea for further development that can make players even more motivated to play the game more and more.
The current challenges, let’s say the version released in the first round, are in many cases grind-based and too simple for those who are looking for a motivating challenge in FM. They are mostly about driving this or that car for a certain lap, etc. These also make sense for, for example, beginner players, but according to my experience, skill-based tasks are preferred by most people. The skill-type tasks in the weekly challenges that are currently available, such as overtake 5 starting positions compared to your starting position, or achieve a podium position in featured multiplayer, are good as a starting point, but very few, 2-3 of these for a week and let’s face it, they are too easy for those who are more experienced in the game.
So my specific suggestion is the following. Multiple skill tasks in the Challenge Hub, each with three levels. By definition, these three grades are increasingly difficult and linked to medals, i.e. bronze, silver and gold medals. (Many kinds of exciting challenges can be invented that require skill-based performance, but I will provide ideas for these in a separate proposal.) The point is, therefore, that the Challenge Hub can be made much more exciting and interesting by introducing several levels of difficulty for each challenge, and thus the even beginners can get more credits in several ways and everyone is motivated to perform better and better. Specific examples of difficulty leveling tied to medals based on the current weekly challenges:
Achieve a race in carrier or featured multiplayer 5 places ahead of your starting position = bronze medal (10,000 credits)
Achieve a race in carrier or featured multiplayer 10 places ahead of your starting position = silver medal (25,000 credits)
Achieve a race in carrier or featured multiplayer 15 places ahead of your starting starting position = gold medal (50,000 credits)
Achieve a bronze medal position in featured multiplayer or achieve three podium positions in carrier on difficulty level 5 = bronze medal (10000 credits)
Achieve a silver medal position in featured multiplayer or achieve three podium positions in carrier on difficulty level 6 = silver medal (25000 credits)
Achieve a gold medal position in featured multiplayer or achieve three podium positions in carrier on difficulty level 7 = gold medal (50000 credits)
This system can make the Challenge Hub much more varied and enjoyable for both beginners and advanced players. Vote if you like the idea!
