Whats going on guys. I am not much of a photographer in previous Forzas, I have never been too good I don’t think. But I just picked up Horizon and and something about it, I don’t know if it is because its the first time I played forza with a day/night or the rain or just the lighting but I can not get enough of taking photographs. I want to share some shots with you guys (what fun is it if I am the only one to see them) plus I want to get some tips, ideas and criticism because I am really enjoying this and I want to get better.

Heres a bunch of random shots I have taken.

I have a lot more I will upload but I thinking Im getting too many for the first post

Here are some more

reserve just in case lol

Those shots of the F&F GTR are really awesome they belong in the realistic thread!!!

Thanks man. I will post them in there after I am done class.

Nice to see new work and really like this one,

Reflections, colour and action!

Great start, and you actually know how to use aperture, which is a first! One thing I would suggest it bumping up the colour a little, it seems like every shot except the one serg quoted is a little flat in the colour department.

Thank iHomie OG. Yeah I need to mess withe the color some. Sometimes I forget to change some settings like sepia from shot to shot, especially rain ones, which washes them out a little. What do you usually keep your color on?

Handful of new random shots

I like how you captured the carbon!

As for my colour settings, I use in between 80-100, but most people from what I’ve seen use around the 65-75, so it’s personal preference what you use.

+1 I’m also a fan of the Challenger shots despite the flat(ish) colour. Awesome start.

Wow, I tend to stick to much lower saturation levels. As of recent, I’ve started to get into the 60-70 range but that’s usually my absolute cap. Just goes to show how everyone’s got their own unique style

@Sergi01978: Thanks I really love that shot as well

@iHomie OG: Thank you. I really love taking photos of Lamborghins. So many cool angles and small details

@Apparently God: Thanks man, I wish I did add a little more color to them challenger shots. It was my first time playing anything Forza Horizon 2 so I was completely fascinated with the rain drops lol

On the subject of color, I bumped mine up to the upper 80 to 90s range for the last couple of shots. I feel like I need to work on my contrast as well, I like to keep like lower to bring out the mesh grills and other details, but it adds a ton of color due to the exposure. I like the vibrancy but I need to iron it out more. I guess I got to keep working at it to find my style and what I like.

Anyway, been busy with class this week but I managed to snag a few photos tonight:

Awesome start to your gallery Cha Boy!

Loving this one,

Great allrounder, speed, aperture, angle and colour.

@Nights Viper: Thanks. I am going to start doing sets when I get some more time. I am finding some cars I like to photography.

@Sergi01978: Thanks Sergi! I really like a photo as well.

Questions for you guys. Any rhyme or reason why the watermark constantly moves. If i remember correct in at least Forza 3 and 4 (not sure about 5 as I didnt photography much in that) it was always in the bottom right. Now it can be in the bottom right, or the top right, or even the bottom left I seen a couple times.

Anyway, a few of these Zagato I just purchased as well as a P1 I came across (can’t wait to buy one of them):

Love that Aston and mclaren together

Crazy reflections!

The watermark moves because it’s moveable, unlike other forzas. Press the right bumper to change which corner.

@EpicEvan777: Thanks. I wanted to take it from the other side, I thought it was a better angle but it was all damaged up lol

@iHomie OG: Thanks, that is great information. They finally implemented that feature. I was super confused at first how it was moving around.

Here is some more photos:

Awesome shot!

Great start, you seem to be learning fast, and I can’t wait to see more!
