Celebrate 20 Years of Forza Motorsport with Fujimi Kaido

As usual, this argument, motorsport doesn’t mean you have to be locked on a stricly professional environment.

So this is not motorsport for you ? I can understand if it’s your opinion, but that’s doesn’t change the fact that, it is motorsport.

At this point we can also say that’s not motorsport because they drive street cars and not race one.

If peoples play soccer on the street, it’s still a sport even if they’re not on an official field and use a foam ball instead of the compound used on official soccer.

You underestimate how much they’re peoples who doesn’t care about profesionnal racing environments, official tracks, but still enjoy motorsport, because they enjoy cars, at first.

FM isn’t iracing, and that’s for the best.

Then i invit you to check the course of Fujimi Kaido, Rally Di Positano. Those tracks are born on FM, and actually FH 1/2/3/4/5 no one of them, even if you put them together, have reached the lvl of those 2 tracks.

Road racing is for horizon ? For that the game should have a more larger map, more interesting roads, it’s cool at first because it’s an open world, but it always have been little and empty at the same time.

The one who can provide a dedicated racing environment is FM, roads or official tracks, it’s actually better for provide a good racing experience (even if they’re so much to improve)

You know, I kinda wonder if Update 20 will have all the content that we could have had over the last couple months, just postponed to come in a nice hefty package, or if it’ll actually be something extra.

Fujimi advantages:

-The best track in the game for drifting

-It will generate excellent photos

-The track is not bad for racing, it has more overtaking points than NURB

-It will be fun to compete -Good for adjusting a car for tighter curves

-It is a track that is very different from the others (We have modern circuits, rustic circuits, ovals and now mountain circuits, now we need a street track)

Not to mention that it must be a visual spectacle to race on this track in different climates and times, imagine it in the rain, or at night!

Sadly meta will always be a thing.

I just stopped to care about if since i don’t drive those cars/build

Fujimi actually represent easily 4x a race like Mugello, so for peoples who want a road for race, it’s more than welcomed, you have likely 4 races on one.

I already think about leaving oppen MP and to back on it only when i wan’t to change a bit of Fujimi on private lobby.

Then about drift, it’s a part of the fun.
Sometimes i want to race, sometimes i don’t want to. But i’m not really what you can call a drifter.

For example i don’t care about the 1st position, i care about to have a good close racing, so sometimes if someone behind me is slower, i just start to drift each corners for slow down on his pace, so i can see how they try to overtake, how i can defend, work on taking unconventional lane.
That’s all the fun for me because i like to drive my cars.

And it already happened to me to turn practice session on a drift lobby because of this, it wasn’t my intent to do it. But they’re peoples who share the same fun, but it can also cause issue since they’re peoples who want to lap/race, and because the game is already about race/official track only, for someone like us, actually you can only do that on oppen lobby, since the game doesn’t have trackday/oppen search lobby function/a track like Fujimi who make you to want to deal with the rough ticket creation function for lobby

For Fujimi on rotation on open MP, i suppose it should’nt be on it.
This race just should have a consistantly open MP trackday, so drifters/peoples who doesn’t want strict racing can easily merge on it.

I’m sure what you’re saying is true for many, but it certainly isn’t universal. I’m bad at drifting, never had much interest in it, and in my ~18 years with the Forza franchise, Fujimi Kaido is by far my favorite track for hot lap and touge racing. I’m sure there are plenty who feel the same. But then, I like hill climb a lot and have always wished T10 would bring us real world p2p hill climb tracks.

Yes, the new Forza Motorsport really needed a track like Fujimi Kaido, with all existing “scenic” tracks (like Prague, Rio, Bernese Alps etc.) left behind. I’m very glad to see that Forza Horizon didn’t become the only Forza that can have normal roads and pretty landscapes

And cars like Ferrari Portofino, Porsche 911 Speedster and Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder will finally make more sense for me. If only we could drop the roof in them…

i am happy for the fujimi kaido lovers and that hopefully more people will play fm although i really want more real world tracks like the red bull ring, monza, imola and zolders

You only have to look at the vote count on the list of tracks to invalidate this statement.

I wanted Fujimi back for the nostalgia of Forza. I could care less about drifting but it’s a fun track to drive.

This is for sure not the right way to make the game better. If you start listening on a bunch of old men, eho will play this track two times before starting to complain again, this will be the end for the game. Fujima is not useable for racing, so we take a step back here. Waiting for the anouncement of the tesla Monster truck and other fancy cars, which will complement this track at its best. FH Motorsport 8 incoming. Maybe you simplyfy the physics a bit and give us crossplay between the games before end this drama.

I haven’t say nobody care about those, still is they’re peoples who dropped(or simply don’t look at) the game because no street tracks, drifters get upseted because the feature wasn’t here (and it’s still not properly implemented)

The forum doesn’t represent the whole players too.

If you take Asseto Corsa, for some, the game isn’t pointless because with mods they can create roads for race/little open worlds, but how much peoples actively play it on console since they’re no mod for don’t have to be locked on track ? Without this variety they’re many community who would never had existed, and it can represent a good amount of your players.

At the end it’s not a war about do peoples want more real tracks, or more road tracks, they’re just different interest and as you said it, if you check on the vote for tracks, Fujimi Kaido is popular, bring back Fujimi Kaido is something you hear since it stopped to appear.

So from a game who, before, had this variety of tracks environments, i expect that franchise to follow this path instead of turning it on something who it isn’t suppose to be.

I have nothing against real racing experience, i just don’t like it, but that’s a good thing if they’re more content related to it for those who like it, but that’s not, if it’s at the cost of the variety this game had and should have, and of the fun a sandbox game should occur you.

I didnt say its impossible, because its not. They already made the car, they could just reshade it and add it to the game. Licensing is always an issue, theres numerous cars and brands that were in past games that could easily be added but licensing cost or other hurdles make it difficult.

For real. It doesn’t matter how many cars or tracks they keep adding if we don’t have track day meetup where we can just hop on a track with randoms and friends, then what’s the point of all this.

Everybody’s burned out on the joke of a career and the garbage monthly FOMO. Let us just hop in cars and race, that’s what this game has always been about. Great cars and great tracks, having fun with friends and making new ones.

TRACK DAY MEETUP IS OVERDUE!!!

Completely different development teams under the umbrella.

I play on both series X and PC and people that keep wanting improvements for ray tracing on any game on console need to realize that it was completely a marketing ploy. The hardware in the series X can barely touch the ray tracing necessities and not at a usable frame rate.

Sure we all want it to look beautiful. I play on a 4090 when on my PC and I still turn ray tracing off so I can have a stable frame rate. Expecting a $500 console to even display ray tracing at 30 FPS is asking a lot. There might be a tiny bit for them to improve but basically they’re capped at the hardware limit.

More content! yeyy! oh.. wait.. this mean that AI dumbness and online multiplayer will be fixed this time?

Anybody else thinks the A.I. will be horrible on this “Fujimi Kaido”?

The XSX gives you the option to run with RT enabled,or am i missing something?

I’m glad for those who like the track, I’ll play it in free play to remember old times, but it’s not something that makes me want to play again.
I just hope that update 20 will change the penalty system to something much less frustrating, make the menu to view, load or delete tunes and designs easier and faster, and fix the problem of limiting the amount of tunes or designs you can have.

It really is nice to see FK back. Looking forward to doing a little bit of hill climb or touge just to switch it up a bit. I am eagerly waiting for the rest of the details about update 20. What will the rest of the update include? Obviously more cars and hopefully more fixes. Maybe some highly requested features? Who knows!? Being this is T10 20th year anniversary I’m hoping they have some big stuff planned. I’m ready for some details.
