Wonder if there’s a FM23 Anniversary Edition in the pipeline?

T10, if you’re going to bring back Fujimi Kaido you have to bring back the public drift lobbies, for the love of God, DO IT.

Fantastic news.

This is the best track they could have brought back for the 20th anniversary. Kudos.

Alot of happiness on Social Media at this announcement. It’s even getting ones who criticised the game to comment that their reinstalling it again .
I for one am looking forward to the track & whatever other goodies T10 have lined up for the 20th anniversary update.
Great choice of track for to mark 20 years T10 . Well done :+1:

Absolutely a banger. I love to be a Insider of the game, and more than that, a player of this Franchise. My favorite track is coming for FM8, I am so hyped about that :star_struck:

I can’t wait to see 6-7 people using the same meta car for this track

I think the PS5 conversion was farmed out to a studio in Montreal that specializes in that sort of thing.

Perhaps the lull was to allow them to catch up to where they had planned to be before scrapping/altering the Car Points system? Or to help Playground Games fine tune the newer Forzatech engine for FH6? Could be anything but I doubt they’ll share.

I hope this isn’t a last hurrah for Forza Motorsport, with MS attention turning fully to Horizon, perhaps with derivatives of that to earn cash. Hopefully we’ll now get more tracks coming regularly: real world, old Forza inventions plus new to franchise ones to mix things up. Personally, I’d like historic layouts complete with old style logos but I think that’s unlikely.

Wow, great T10, thank you so much, the most iconic track in the history of motor games.

By the way, in the screenshot that looks great, you can’t see any streetlights. I hope this is true. Going up and down Fujimi Kaido in the pitch black night and dense fog is going to be epic.

Awesome! I’m extremely happy to hear a little bit more of what made the older games great is arriving in May. Always loved that track in the GOAT FM4. Now hopefully for the 20th anniversary they announce that older tours will be coming back permanently, whether thats one a month (along with a new tour) or all of them added to the career mode. It’s passed time Turn10, FOMO needs to die! Haven’t played in 3 months because of this as well as having no AI in private multiplayer. Some of the highest requests the community has, thanks for Kaido but we really need the most requested features to make this game great. Good step though. :+1:t2:

Fujimi Kaido being a part of Hakone was predicted over a year ago. It just made way too much sense. Good to see he was correct.

If you look at the mountain in the distance in the Fujimi kaido announcement thumbnail it resembles the mountain in the Hakone circuit background. It makes perfect sense

This. 100%.

If they want people to stay and play, to have any hope for this franchise lasting, FoMo has to go.

Well, at the risk of being labeled a cynic, ha, who am I trying to kid, I am a cynic.

I have to agree with you. Unless they’ve been working on the track since day one of the game release. This track should have been released several months ago. The only players who will really be drawn back to the game because of this track are the drifters.

Sure there will be many people using the track for regular racing as well. But the main point of this road is drifting.

But for saving the game, it’s just another Nordschleife.

They aren’t connecting together, Hakone pass is based off of “ Hakone Odakyu Railway” different location than fujimi even tho they are all close together even in real life :). Fujimi will be its own thing, but there’s a small chance I could be wrong too
