Cars - Volkswagen Golf R '22- speedometer RPMs not in synch with UI speedometer RPMs (3913652)

So in new 2022 golf the speedometer shows wrong info of RPMs. Speed is correct but rpm is wrong as you can see in the picture. The car is all stock btw. Ar screen and forza info part(right bottom) are not the same about RPMs.

How did you even obtain the car?

yeah how did he mmh

It should be converted to one general topic - New 2022 golf de-synced speedometer - Horizon Troubleshooting / FH5 Report New Issues - Official Forza Community Forums

There are few issues found:

  1. De-synced speedometer
  2. Missing side small spoilers above rear fenders
  3. Boost pressure gauge is showing incorrect values and position of pointer (there are minus values while throttle is in 0 position and with full throttle it goes only to three quarters - it should goes from one quarter to the end (0.3-2.5 bar)

Kindly check.

Thank you.

Hi there!

Just got the golf 8 (‘22) painted the car a. Nice color and the side mirrors were painted as well. Now I want to change the color of the side mirrors to black and it says its not able to do so. This even though clearly the mirrors were already painted when I painted the whole car another color.

Is this a bug? Would love a nardo golf with black sode mirrors

Also the side mirrors cannot be painted seperately even though theyre painted the car color while painting the entire car :frowning:

It is not a bug, it is the same on some other cars when the mirrors have strict color on special models. It is US version of MK8 and that model have only aluminium colored side mirrors. But I agree that it will be better to remove that restriction (if possible), I would like to change color to black too.

This absolutely ruins the experience to me. I always forget that the fake redline is at something like 5700RPM and lose time. I don’t use the HUD when playing.

Issue is still occurring as of Update 32

still bug despite update 33 today
I thought this bug should be easly solved , why it s so long ?

The Golf R 20th Anniversary Edition(US Version of the Golf R 20 Years but without the extra power, has manual or DSG like the normal US Spec Golf R) has black mirrors

Cockpit RPM doesn’t match virtual gauges RPM. The engine sounds does match virtual gauge RPM. So the wrong one is the virtual cockpit RPM gauge

I noticed the exact issue as well. This persisted since it was first added back in Series 26.

I just bought the car pack DLC and can confirm that the RPM gauge of the car’s dashboard is indeed not synced with the HUD RPM gauge.

Playing on Xbox Series X.

To this day it is still bad both in horizon and in motorsport

In some cases bugs will not be fixed due to a variety of reasons. The developers have noted this issue as a high risk fix.
