Cars – Subaru WRX STI (VA) 2015 – Inaccurate factory colours

This issue is new to Forza in Motorsport. Almost all Factory Colours available on the 2015 WRX STI are inaccurate, to various extents.

Galaxy Blue Pearl, or whichever colour it’s supposed to be, lacks the Pearl finish and has an inaccurate shade

Ice Silver Metallic is too bright and has too much blue

Crystal White Pearl lacks the Pearl finish

This colour is either WR Blue Metallic without the Metallic finish or very off Hyper Blue, either way it is inaccurate. Since the VA WRX STI came with WR Blue instead of Hyper Blue, this colour is most likely the former.

Somehow, all of the aforementioned colours were fairly accurate in Horizon 5

“Our paint source uses spectrophotometer technology to capture multiple data points on color behavior”

It’s all because of this terrible downgraded lighting in the game. If it would look like the early trailers, the colors will definitely be accurate as expected.

“Does this look like a Spectrophotometer to you, developers??? Built from the ground up???”

FH5 way better.

And then you have black parts, like a lot of the cars in FM, for some reason looking like a grayish brown. Like the front bumper vents on this Subaru for example.
On some other cars, there are parts that should be black and glossy, but the game makes them gray or graish brown.
