So basically i noticed on quite a few cars, around half way through their third gear revs, they just randomly lose power for about half a second to a second,
Say im in second gear, auto gearbox changed to third, i start at 2,000 revs and go to 4,500, i lose power for 0.5-1 second, then power comes back and i go to rev limiter and change gear again, all is fine
Only happens in third gear
Kind of annoying when playing online and the lack of acceleration for the small amount of time loses you the corner, and quite possibly the race…
Is this a well known bug? I spoke to a few friends and they all noticed it in a few cars, such as the 2 newer evos, 65 mini, and hennesy venom, but i know for sure its more cars since it happens to like 90% of the cars i have driven
If you just jam the throttle trigger to 100% coming out of turns the abrupt application of power may be causing wheelspin, which in turn would activate the TCS. Try giving the accelerator trigger a slightly slower, smoother pull as you exit turns.
My issue is like half way through gear 3, corners or straight, the car just loses power, the rev meter sticks at like 6,000 revs for a second, then the car gains power
To better explain this, its basically like my controller disconects for a second, except all the other buttons still work except right trigger
Doesnt matter what car or how fast, such as vw campervan, like 50 in third, no chance of a wheelspin, still loses power for a second
Another way to explain it would be like im changing gear, but im not
Its kinda like the lack of acceleration from gear changes, except it just feels different, it just literally feels like my right trigger stops working for a second
But i have friends that have the same problem, tries multiple controllers, and only third gear
I was having this happen with the F-Type R about an hour ago. It also stayed ‘on throttle’ when I let go of the trigger on one occasion, although that was in 5th gear.
