The Ferrari 599XX , the reward car of the Open Series in Update 6, has no gearshift animation
The shifter doesn’t move properly in any of the cars. The shifter never moves into the proper gear, it just sits in neutral while the hand goes through a robotic animation mimicking a shift. Half the time the hand doesn’t even contact the shifter.

Does this issue still persist after recent updates? Would it be possible to provide a video of this in action?
Yep, appears to be no gearshift animation after the 5 min mark when the OP goes into cockpit view. In fact, I can’t even tell if the paddle shifters are there.

The Ferrari 599XX has long paddle shifters fixed to the base, not to the wheel.
If you look closely, it seems the connecting part of the shifters is visible when he’s steering left or right, the shiny parts sticking out left and right from the column.
The rest of the paddles seems to be obscured by the wheel.
I can’t see any hand/finger movement though. How does the game handle this with other cars with similar paddles?

Interesting.
I can see the driver’s fingers moving to different degrees, depending on what car it is, but oddly there’s no finger movement with the 599xx. I actually had to look for it after reading this thread, lol.

We are closing out this issue. The developers have noted this issue as Fixed as of Update 8 on 05.13.24
