The bodykit can’t be applied and the spoiler of the bodykit also can’t be applied. Nothing happens, I made a video of it.
And this is the current spotlight car, that says a lot about the game.
Hello @JohnDoe9302 . If i remember correctly, the body kit for 458 was removed completely (possibly due to licensing issues).

No the bodykit wasn’t removed due to licensing, it was removed because it caused a glitch with the rear wing and part of the body turning invisible.
It was re-added with this update, but clearly not working as you can see in the video above.

I didn’t know that thanks. Well I downloaded a Liberty Walk livery, wanted to apply the WB kit but it didn’t work. That is not cool.
I noticed that spoiler number 2 is always invisible, no idea if that is intended or not. But it adds grip and I like that. I wish all cars had invisible spoilers that add grip.

Ok. I didn’t know it returned.
I heard it was removed because ferrari wanted it to…that’s why they gave us a acura dpi.

This is what the “Brave” search engine spits out if I ask it. “Why the Forza Motorsport Ferrari 458 Italia Widebody Kit has been removed from the game?”

The Widebody was most likely deleted as a result of Ferrari being Ferrari. However, I don’t understand why the chassis-mounted Wing was deleted, they could just make the Wing model separate from the engine cover and make it not move.

I just got a 458 Italia for a career event this week and after seeing this thread I now understand why. It’s such a shame.

Already created the exact same post several months back with many votes to it. Someone said the license may have been removed for the RB wide bodykit. One of my favs IRL and from FM 7. Sad to see it removed.
Perhaps they will bring it back. Who knows.

I found another topic by someone else and wow it looks awesome.
They have created an event for this car and they have not even repaired the rear spoiler and body kit, incredible

I don’t think is so much that they didn’t repair it, but that Ferrari essentially won’t allow their cars to be altered and T10 were forced to remove the body kit. However, the existence of the option being there makes me wonder if while there is no visual difference, are you still getting the performance advantage from it?

It does change the performance iirc. If you watch the video it is shown in the beginning. It adds more grip afaik.

This is the intended functionality, after Ferrari got mad at Forza for featuring the Liberty Walk widebody for this car.
