Yeah I thought they would give us the new 2023 model? This is the old one.
Having just googled the 2023, they could just rename that 2020 model as a 2023 and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The 2023 model is a completely different gen, you’d be able to tell the difference as nothing is the same

This one is missing the M2 comp aero package and the hood roundel ( dunno how this passed inspection ). It’s a wee bit different than the standard M2. Also doesn’t sound right. Should sound just like the F82 M4. Then again, nothing in this game sounds right.

Like I said, I googled it beforehand and it looked practically identical. I expected it to be substantially similar, but it exceeded my expectations with gusto. If it were a car I was even remotely interested in, I’d be happy to have it instead of quibbling obsessively over the year.
Who cares what year it is when it’s a similar and boring BMW box. Each of the 30 cars every week should be epic and make you immediately want to drive it. Not immediately hit the button as fast as you can to skip over the acceptance for the gift.

And I know what google brings up. I’ve said that I googled twice now. If you can’t read that text, you can hardly take issue with me not spotting a significant difference between two generic BMWs. Oh, man, there’s a slight change to the front aero. Totally different car. If they keep going maybe some day it will no longer be the Argos, but right now it still looks like the same old Argos to me.

We have the new generation in Horizon 5 since last series. Here as a car pass addition we get a facelift of the older one that was in Forza for years - and of course is now absent.
Seems fishy.

They did the same thing with the golf R in Horizon 5 
Instead of giving the players a 2021 golf R they gave us a late 2021 mk7 golf R. Its technically correct but also not and its a bit deceiving. Because when you say a 2020 m2 competition you’d expect to see the latest generation which released that year and not the previous one.
Imagine if you were to go to a car dealership in real life and they did the same thing As a customer you have every right to be mad at them.

Shots fired, and I can’t completely disagree, but also if you’re going to add uninteresting cars might as well be the latest, shiniest, brand-newest version of it. Or the race version. Or better yet, the 507.
I was also a bit surprised and disappointed that the G87 wa selected. precisely because the data is already there thanks to FH5.

Yep. You’re blind. New M2 may be ugly as sin, but it’s a completely different beast under all that. If only I could get the F87 body on all this G87 tech. We get it, you don’t like BMW.
