why did they feel the need to DOUBLE the score on this from what it takes to three star it normally? most of the players aren’t drift gods, and i estimate MAYBE 1% of the total players actually enjoy this steaming pile of a type of event. if i wanted to drift i would BUY a drifting game. drifting has NO place in a racing game PERIOD. more evidence that the devs care nothing for the fans and the players and only for the bottom line. after this rage quit i am seriously considering uninstalling this trash and never playing another Forza game again. i certainly won’t be buying another one after the ongoing fiasco that is Forza Horizon 5. INCENSED.
You could easily do it in an awd car the score isnt really that bad. I actually have a video of myself hitting a mil in Cara Este in a 6x6 so anything is possible really. If you need some help… I could try and help you learn the lines sometime this weekend.
Also technically drifting belongs in any car based game if you know what your doing and how to tune. I wouldn’t truly say it should be removed from Horizon because you bought an open world game with variety (pr stunts, eliminator, super 7, horizon arcade etc.), not a sim based racer like Motorsport which is more competitive and focused on the racing side of things. If you are wanting like very specifically racing… I highly recommend looking into Forza Motorsports titles. Personally, I am greatful to see them show drifting some love as here lately its been kind of upsetting due to leaderboards being broken making old record scores impossible to hit, only s1 a class open drifting, and no rwd awd seperation which just causes wars and alot of hateful messages.
It took a couple of tries but I managed it in the Formula Drift Viper (stock). You need to practice though. I know from FH4 that there are good easy drift tunes for it that use AWD.
