car tuning in free roam / quick question from newbie

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently aquired Forza 7 and I’ve got a simple question.

I’ve played a lot in Forza 3 and 4 on X360 and the situation which I’ll write below never happened.

Could you tell me if it’s possible to customize and make tuning (rims, spoilers, colours) of your car in free roam → I pick the car, pick the track, colour and tune my car and just drive (alone).

As far as I get in free roam I can only “rent” a car which make unable to tune or paint the car.
Can anyone help me with it?

Yep you can do all this in Free Play/Roam

First of go to the Advanced setting in freeplay and set your car choice to any now once you have don this go to sellect car tab while in free play and this will bring up cars you own pick one then, go to sellect track wait till track loads then on the second freeplay tab sellect Test Drive while in Test drive you can tune and swap parts to your racing pleasuer.

Where exactly is the “select track”? I only seem to be able to drive on the drag strip.

So it’s bad because I can tune only cars which I have?

It’s not fair cause according to previous games I can pick up the car I want (without buying it) and change what I want

I have no idear what game you are refering to but you have neve been able to tune a rental in any Forza game that can be played on the Xbox One or PC Pick a colour mabey but never tune.

Unless ther is one I dont know about😲
