So I’ve noticed that my car would breakdown near the end of 1st Goliath lap.
Car: Ford Mustang Boss 302 Horizon Edition
Breakdown point: 4 minutes before the first lap ends (near ship wreck area)
Car Damage: Simulation with some dents, nothing major.
Transmission: Automatic
I’ve noticed that near the end I am no longer able to accelerate. I am able to break but can’t reverse or accelerate. The car completely stalls with no engine rev. This has happened twice and almost at the same point of the map [right after crossing the bridge over the ship wreck area]
Why is this happening? Is it because of simulation car damage? If so, why does the car breakdown without any major damage to the car?
I like the idea of Fuel running out but either keep this feature off on races or have everyone do a pitstop (AI inclusive). But considering how AI doesnt even need to follow the checkpoints, i doubt they’d bother stopping for fuel lol.
Fueling in free roam is a fun idea - if implemented properly… also is there a fuel gauge? I haven’t noticed one…
And yes - on the difficulty menu, they should explicitly mention that fuel is limited too.
Guess I’ll be playing with no car damage - kinda sucks loosing the bonus on Goliath.
The only way to see how much fuel you have is changing to the first person camera, and there you can see the fuel left. I think they should at least add a fuel gauge.
