Cars at level 50 can’t be developed further so best to sell and buy replacement same model or something else?
Don’t you lose the manufacturer discount if you sell of a level 50 car?

Just keep driving it. Turn off the car progression bar in the hud and pretend its not there. Car levels are pointless since they abandoned the whole CARPG idea and just let us buy upgrades.

Still trying to understand why the whole system is in the game. Clutters the UI and adds unnecessary prompts in the upgrades menu. Didn’t T10 say they are at a limit of HUD elements or something likr that? I’d rather see boost pressure gauge, odometer or live lap delta

What’s to gain by selling & rebuying the same car after it hits max level?

He could just buy the same car again and keep the level 50 one. He could max out the same car 5 times to get the max manufacturer discount.
I maxed out the same ACURA racecar two times, because I had two and there aren’t more than 4 different ACURA cars in the game. But if there ever is another one, then I can buy it with 25% discount then lol. I am running out of manufacturers where it’s worth it to max out 5 cars for the discount.
Yup, the car leveling system kinda lost its purpose when changes to buying upgrades were made (although they were needed). I’m still hoping that one day T10 finds new purpose for it. Perhaps something like this:

They’ve started adding new cars to showroom instead of FOMO so hopefully itll be more relevant of a discount in the future.
