This is awesome, I understand the implications of licensing etc, which obviously plays a large part in keeping all the cars we know and love!
I’m sure the guys over at “Big Country Labs” would be all over licenceing their wings for in game use, they even had a Facebook petition for it actually haha.
The main reason I’d love their wings in the game is that the “Forza” adjustable ones sometime are too narrow or short for certain cars and can look a bit out of place, but maybe in time we will see what happens!
Either way, the offset adjustment option has made my day and I’m super keen for FH4, will be pre-ordering Ultimate edition as I have for the last 4 games!
We definitely need a wide body kit or at least wider fenders for 1965 Mini. Finally, please add a windscreen for Caterham. In real life this is an optional equipment and it would be really nice to see it in a game especially since we have different seasons now.
Anyone can confirm if for this game this option would be available.
this hasn’t been done since the need for speed underground days, if window is already an option
why not this one. also license plate customization would be nice have some American/European
plates to be interchanged how you want.
I guess it wont take much time for developers to add it.
WOW, if you’re really trying to defend T10’s and PG’s lazy approach to customization by saying ‘coding isn’t simple’, my hope for the sanity of this community is downright gone.
I guess chicken costumes and emotes are being coded with ease, while non-red brake calipers require a minimum of 2 decades of development effort, am I right?
Can’t even blame the devs for this stuff, since they mentioned some of the problems themselves.
It’s much rather the executives who value idiotic gameplay and design elements over actual community requests.
This said, Q&A sessions with T10 or PG are just straight up comedy, when they start to praise their new ‘features’ and then negate 5 community questions in a row, while akwardly looking at some corner of the room.
Actually, I wasn’t, I was just responding to that part of his post, but since you chose to pick that part of my post out of context you missed the point.
The actual reason they stated for not having paintable calipers was due to licensing, but that may or may not be true.
Horizon 4 is adding 30 new bodykits, new deformable terrain, a route creator, and stance options and that’s just off the top of my head.
Motorsport is getting a completely new suspension upgrades, a whole new drift mode, track limits and classic rivals system in 2 days.
They’re both getting the Formula Drift pack, which means in the last year we’ll have had 14 heavily modified cars added to Forza specifically for drifting/hooning/mucking about just from this and the Hoonigan car pack, plus all the other crazy cars they add on the regular.
You don’t have to like every choice they make, I don’t, but saying they’re ignoring customization or community requests is a false narrative.
I know it is way too late for FH4, and I’m not sure about the feasibility of adding it in a post launch update, But I would love something similar to the Rear Wing Customization in Gran Turismo 6. I just want something more then that one wing across every single car. Maybe for the next Forza game.
Definately. Or maybe if we kept the Forza wing, but could change the winglets and mounts on the car? Completely agree though. The Forza wings are just boring and far too generic. It’s the same with the front splitters. Can we have an option to remove the winglets and tow hooks also?
I have been waiting to find out if any of the WRX STi’s would be getting a widebody kit and was looking forward to see which one gets it. I was watching a video and found out that no STi’s got a widebody kit. Plenty of new cars got them and there are plenty of Subaru’s in the stance and widebody community, so I am stunned. Please leave your thoughts and ideas on this, because I’m honestly a little upset.
YES.
Playground Please. Widebody Impreza!
I really want the off-road widebody that they put on the SUV’s available for the impreza, I want to build me some proper battlecars.
This widebody and fitment craze is of no real interest to me but I have, while streaming, checked out a few cars by request, I’m hoping to stream a few hours each evening through Thursday, primarily focused on sorting out some designs and bashing about the map here and there. If you stop by, I’ll try to accommodate your request for the S2000.
Hi everyone I was just wondering if anyone knows which cars have the wheel spaces option, I know that they showed them on a bmw but that’s it so if anyone knows please tell me.
