Car customization

Ford escort rs1800 1977
Clearly been a confirmed car for this game also very fitting with it being set in the UK, but for once will it have the option to place the “forest arches” or wider rally arches from the genuine ford works vehicles? As notice there was a heavily modified beetle in game too, customisation wise I think this game is going to be insane, someone can pin this to wish list if you want not so much me asking for it more or less just a question of how you lot think the game will have advanced in customisation, I strongly believe this game will be highly advanced on customisation compared to the 3rd one what’s your thoughts?

Baja Bug is a model that was made for Forza Horizon 3.
The model was already completed, but this car didn’t appear due to licensing problems associated with Volkswagen diesel scandal.

nope u can drive the baja bug in fh2… its older.

They’re two different cars. One is a Class 5 buggy, this one is the Stock Bug.

Hes referring to the red baja bug from the E3 trailer.

Since we got body kits for other cars like the Huracan, 650s, M3 E30, RX-8, and many more, possibly they can be added into the game?
Liberty Walk Huracan
Liberty Walk R8

Rocket Bunny 350z
Liberty Walk 650s

WRC Fiesta

We kinda got to see a few more body kits during FM7, but the amount is still kinda small imo. I think adding more creativity on customization would be nice.

They did say they would add more wide body kits from what I heard so I guess we’ll have to stay tuned. I would expect more Horizon Edition cars with custom wide bodies and maybe some more stuff from Liberty Walk and Rocket Bunny? Time will tell…

More interesting still is the news involving drift supension. Anyway the devs’ answer to any and all questions on customization is to “stay tuned for more in the summer.”

That’s because in pretty sure steering lock is coming into FM7 too. So what we see there will probably be what we see in FH4.

If there’s any revamping or adding to the current upgrade systems we’ve had in Forzas to this point, i.e. the drift stuff mentioned as well as more body kits and whatnot, I truly.hope there’s going to be some consideration for drag racers. Front and rear spoilers that are more appropriate for said drag. Proper wheel packages size and compound wise. Along with all the other goodies. Engines, suspensions, chassis and trans.

It’s well past due to have some NEW upgrade things for a change. Not just for drag racing, but proper upgrades for drifting and actual off road suspensions like lift kits and bigger off road tires.

Just something new and fresh.

RANDOM REQUEST… Can they PLEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSEEEEEE make it possible for vinyls to be matt on a gloss car and gloss on a matt car. pretty much give us the same color options for vinys as we get in the paint booth. it would ne so cool if we could get matt and chrome vinyls. please make this happen!!

And bring back the flake in the metal.flake paint.

I am pretty sure this already exists… Like, I had a gold chrome car, and I could place matte black vinyls on it. Maybe it was a weird backwards way of doing it, but I do specifically remember doing that. Or maybe I am just blending other games into this one now. I can’t keep them straight anymore.

Nope. You must be thinking of another game. I’ve spent thousands of hours in the paint both over the years in every Forza game since the XBox One dropped … and this is not possible in any of the current or previous Forza games. It has been and still is one of the most requested features by painters.

Will we still have to suffer with stock exhaust tips? Likely

Literally clicked on this thread just to beg for an option to change exhaust tips lol. Please! Idk why we still don’t have it, is it really that hard? Such a simple and minuscule detail/option would do so much, for me at least. I don’t really care about body kits, just let me change the exhaust tip as it’s own stand alone option e.g not tied to a bumper.

I think they should have this option and I’ve been saying this in every game so far. Even games that aren’t just car focused eg. GTA5 even have this option and pretty much every car game released recently have this option. Looking back at GT5 what’s not known for external upgrades, when you bought an exhaust upgrade the tip changed even if they weren’t what you wanted it was still good to see a change.

I hope the V8 swaps sound better in this game. In FH3 all we got was the 6.2L V8 from the Chevy SS which sounded like raspy indigestion. The awesome noisy 6.5L V8 sounded like a dragster or a monster truck, but it didn’t come with many cars, only European models mainly.

Agreed. Big blocks should sound like big blocks. Even LS’s can sound way better than what they sound like in the game. At the very least it should sound somewhat different car to car. Only a few engines have a good, full can sound to them too. Like the '67 Stingray.

The limited edition cars on FM5 had matt, chrome and carbon fibre on the same car. Could it be replicated in the paintshop? No, did I want to replicate it? Yes.

Turn 10, sort it!
