I am racing the Pure Motorsports Showdown in the Modern Hypercar division and I am seeing the Caparo T1 appearing in the races. I am curious about this since the series is capped at R 880 and the T1 is P 952. Is this happening to anyone else?
it may be a drivatar where someone has done an engine swap, removed turbo or supercharger, but on drag tires, etc to drop the pi. does it let you view the other cars before the race or when you hit the pause button? remember allowing upgrades could also allow downgrades as well. as long as you have a good car and tune you should still be able to beat it.
I can view the cars from the pause menu and before the race. They are still a P class rating in the R class race.
hmmm. then i dont know. still get a good car and tune and go out and beat that sucker, show 'em who’s boos.
I played a bit of campaign yesterday. The Pl-Cap of the series was at 880. There was a Caparo (Pl 950) in the field ruining my chance on the first place alongside with two Bugatti Veyrons leaving me far behind on every track with longer straigths. I could beat that series (medium difficulty) only with performace mods.
I could not pick the Caparo for myself nore any other car from the car pack in any of the other campaign series.
Is the Caparo-Thingy a bug?
Will none of the Car-Packs be available for Campaign-Play?
If the Caparo is a whole class above, then it clearly is a bug. That’s why you can’t select it. It’s not being disallowed because it’s a car pack car.
It’s out of the event class. It’s a bug, it’ll get fixed. Just be patient.
Yep, I have the same issue as the OP. I have no idea why this is happening in a class restricted career race, but here’s an image of the starting grid:
Its a bug, a Caparo is certainly not a hypercar.
Drivatars cheat difficulty settings, they cheat physics, so obviously they’re going to cheat the rules come on guys what were you expecting

The '39 Mercedes shows up in the “birth of grand prix” showcase. This is annoying for 3 reasons:

It has the highest PI of the 3 cars.

The A.I. can choose this car, but the player cannot.

The theme is “Type D vs. 8CTF”. The Mercedes is basically just getting in the way.
I think it’s a bug somewhere; a huge oversight by the development team if I might add. I had this happen to me too and had to accept 2nd place in every race because of it, not that it matters because positions 1-3 yield the same winnings but still completely unacceptable IMO.

I’ve seen this as well.
I’ve definitely noticed up to four of them in a given race, not sure if there have been more.
I don’t know if this is a glitch but almost every race in Modern Hypercars I chose the Lamborghini Veneno and each grid on every race always had two Caparo T1’s with a higher PI. I wasn’t even able to choose this car even tho I have it in my garage.
What’s up with that?
I had the same thing. I’m assuming it’s a glitch.
Has to be a glitch, in my race my other profile beat me horribly in the caparo, yet I never raced in the caparo nor on that track with that profile, and I am certainly not that darn good.
I’m stuck dealing with it too. It’s so hard to stay ahead of that thing in a Laferrari

Unfortunately this has been going on since the last update.
I am up against 5 of them in the race I’m on in Modern Hypercars. I’ve pretty much given up on career mode until they fix it unfortunately.
