I was doing a couple races in the “Modern Hypercar” division of the career, and I noticed that a Drivatar has used a Caparo T1, one of the cars from the recent car pack. Technically, that A.I Drivatar was breaking the rules since that division is restricted to Hypercars that go up to 880 PI whilst the Caparo T1 is a P Class machine. Besides, the T1 isnt even listed in the Buy Car section for that career division.
So essentially, you are always going to be at an unfair disadvantage when racing in this group as long as the A.I can use the T1.
I am running into the same problem. I am running in the Modern Hyper car division. It is Class-R 880. Right away I noticed that the new and awesome Caparo T1 was destroying the field including me. I have had to do many restarts… Finlay I thought screw it, if you can’t beat them join them right? Turned out the Caparo T1 is a P-class car and is not allowed in the career races. The only way I am able to beat it is by blocking and wrecking the thing every time it’s about to scream past me. Terribly frustrating…
This is my first time posting, and I’ve had many times I wanted to post a thread to complain. But this is the last straw, I don’t play online because of the crashers, and the op cars and the lack of custom public lobbies. Which leaves me with the career mode, I have for the most part enjoyed the career mode, and was willing to look past most of the glaring issues with this game.
Mainly because I spent so much money on this game. But this is the last straw, its bad enough half the people in the hoppers can’t drive, but now the drivatars are running off the road in the first turn in Laguna seca, crashing into me because they can’t slow down fast enough, and to top it off I can’t place first because of the caparo t1. Being in a race it has no business being in. I am not going to continue to play this poor excuse of a game, this is no ultimatum I don’t expect anything of turn10 anymore, because they have dropped the ball one too many times.
I’m not going to wait a month for the next dlc just to get a patch for a problem that they caused with a patch. Sorry for the rant guys, I know you all were just pointing out an issue, but I paid 100 dollars for a game that isn’t even finished.
i really do think turn 10 needs to drop the 2 year cycle. they need to finish a game then put it on sale. no more of the “give them time” lines…give themselves time. if dan cant get a fishied game out get somelese who can. if nobody can then stop pretending they have done the impossible. start realeasing every 3 years. i think in the long run a complete, polished, bug free game every 3 years will sell more copies with two 3 year games than three 2 year buggy messes in 6 years. and if you cant complete a game in 2 years you surre as hell cant complete it and extra dlc for extra $, stop the dlc bs. you cant use the excuse dlc to to keep people employeed where they have nothing to do at the same time you are claiming they already have too much to do with just getting the game out on time. do you have too much spare time or not enough time? one has to be a lie. and either way it is ripping the customer off. its either charging them for dlc that should be in the game already, charging them full price for a full finished game you are not giving them, or both.
