The problem is that I can’t find trial players. When I find players, I press X on the gamepad to indicate I’m ready. When the timer ends, nothing happens. I also began to notice that I can no longer see free roam players on the map; they simply aren’t there.

Games that have online multiplayer mode require a subscription (Xbox Gamepass Core) in order to play with other players around the world.
You can also submit a ticket to forza support.
Why should I buy anything extra if I have the latest version of the game on Steam and before that everything was fine, there were players and I could participate in events with them, but at some point everyone disappeared
