It’s impossible to play online, the servers work very bed. At the end of a race circuit it’s often necessary to wait 5 -15 minutes before continuing the race !!! Can someone tell me what’s going on ??

I cant get online to work, and my internet is just fine. Im on pc and i use ethernet. pls help.
I’ve noticed that if you simply resume a game without a full restart, the game does not check and adjust the date or time. If this happens it is impossible to connect to any live session because of the time difference. You will be stuck in single player only, and time dependant activities will not have updated.
This is particularly noticeable when using one of the new boxes, Series X/S. Quick resume is a brilliant feature that allows you to switch between games without shutting them down. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fully work with FH4. In order to access all game functions you have to restart the game each time.
If you are playing in a live session it is clearly impossible to quit and resume the session at a later time, but surely the game could check and reset to current time each time the game is resumed.
I’m a late night gamer mostly. And I can understand maintenance happening late night at times. But I just got done with trying this on the series X again for some online play and for the first 30 minutes online races loaded fairly decent. Then the 5-10minute wait intervals between races came back. Same thing that’s been happening for half a year now. Both on my gaming pc and series x. Same thing that’s happened to others on here. Daytime or late at night.
Real curious how well things will work in FH5 soon. Thank God it’s on game pass but the reason the base version will be on game pass is all too clear: Because the final bug testing on the game is really gonna start on Nov 5th 2021 and probably last for about 2 months…maybe. That’s been my experience as well as quite a few others on here with at least every forza game since Horizon 3.

I know its been a while now since you’ve posted these chats but just in case someone needs it there is a cure for this disease.
Steps
- Go start menu then settings
- Go to Gaming
- On the left you’ll see Xbox Networking tab click that. (There, you’ll see the status of ur network saying stuff like being disabled and all)
- Click “Fix it”
- Thats literally it xD
I did this went back into the game and I automatically got connected to the horizon server. Surprisingly am still seeing a good amount of ppl playing this game
