Error Code: 0x803FB005
Tried updating other windows apps and they work without a problem. Only Fortune Island doesn’t work.
Pls help.
U need only to download Fortune Island DLC from Microsoft Store. Then be sure that u have Windows updated, then just search Microsoft Store “Forza horizon 4” and select that base game. Try to launch game from “Play” and if u have that patch installed which came out few hours ago u will be able to launch game without problems. If u that says u need to have download update just wait and when download is complete, try to start game.
Just little step-by-step.
- U have downloaded Fortune Island DLC
- Be sure u have updated Windows (Start → settings → Update & Security → Check for updates)
- Open Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 4 and select base game
- Try to start game from “Play”
4.1) Game starts —> U have installed patch and ready to play
4.2) Store says that u need to download patch —> Just wait and when finished start game.

Hi I need help,
I’ve downloaded the fortune island dlc but it won’t install. Everytime I try, it says error code 0x80073D02. I’ve look online to see if I could find something to help but nothing works. Everything is updated and I’v tried WSreset.exe command but it still won’t work.
Can someone help me please??
Please submit a ticket here and we’ll look into this. Make sure you’ve got the base game installed correctly.
I tried fixing this issue for over a month and spent hours trying to find out how to do it. I literally fixed it 2 minutes ago and what I had to do was reinstall windows.

This won’t remove any of your files OR apps as it will when you try doing it from settings.
