Can you create a backup of your savedata - Either X Box or PC?

You can absolutely make backups of your saves (at least on PC). The save folder is “C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.OpusPG_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs”

But what about Snowowls comment

What of it? It should work in all normal cases. If you have a specific scenario in mind let me know and I can test it.

This is the folder that I make backups of as well. If it causes my game to start from scratch so be it. It’s better than having Microsoft’s corrupted save if it comes to that.

If your cloud profile somehow gets corrupted it won’t be recognizable to compare dates, hashes or whatever though.
