While this is a bit less of a problem in multiplayer as many events select the range of cars to choose from.
In single player, having to scroll through 200+ cars over and over is really frustrating.
A simple option to tag cars with a small number of options could help sort through our cars with much easy.
Possibly something as simple as a radial menu that allows the player to pick “favorite, race, sport, rally, tuned” etc, that we could later pick from in the sorting section.

I will usually just press ‘X’ sort by class and then use ‘RB’ to go between classes and then pick the car with no problem.
Though it would be nice ti have a grouping system like Forza Motorsport 4.
I wouldn’t anticipate any changes to the system in Forza Horizon 2. Perhaps we’ll get some sort of proper garage management system with Forza Motorsport 6 and beyond.
You can filter your garage now based on more granular options than those used in MP.
Use filter first and then sort.
In fact you can use filters in MP too but you often don’t have the time to.
