After playing forza I instantly noticed that we can’t sell our cars offline. I’ve never played a car game with that feature and I immediately disliked this game due to that feature being taken away. Some people gave an answer stating. ( if allowing us to sell cars offline and online the game wouldn’t work correctly) and I replied that it worked in forza motorsport 4.
But I want to know your opinion on why not allowing us the sell cars offline was such an amazing feature?

LOL I messed up but I fixed it
Because there used to be a glitch where you could buy certain parts for a car and then sell the car and keep the parts or something like that and make unlimited money.
So instead of fixing the glitch, they just removed the feature (what they normally do instead of fixing issues).
A lot of devs will do that if the feature isn’t vital for usage. I do sometimes, so I guess I have no room to judge. I do recall that FM6 thing where you could sell cars but exit the game and both keep the car and get the credits. It’s because they don’t want things like that to happen.
You’re in the minority if you’re trying to play this game offline. If you instantly disliked this game due to that “issue” that’s your problem.
What and miss out the chance to run online with jerk like comments like that. No idea why anyone would prefer to be offline at all
Not to mention the availability of glitches with a stock version of the game as well as avoiding all of the patches and updates that may or may not corrupt your save data and/or affect other things.
I agree and honestly the forza community is flooded with people that make comments like that. Ive seen some people ask for help and people reply making fun of the person for asking a question. But it seems that’s the only way to make they’re day better.

After reading the OP’s other thread about this, I think what he is meaning is he cannot sell cars back to the game other than the AH. Or maybe I am reading too much between the lines.
that’s exactly what im asking. I didn’t see a good reason for the feature to not be in the game. No matter if it was a bug. If they truly cared about players they wouldn’t have a problem fixing it
Bombervette and ssrdemo answered the why, to the best of my knowledge. Maybe the exploit couldn’t be fixed? Dunno. It’s the best guess to a reason why it was removed. And possible the reason why persons want it back
I’m not really sure what difference makes and barring a major turn around in information sharing- I go with their answer as it sure is most logical and simple.
