I just started playing this game and got some questions about the Byron Bay Festival races. How do I level up at the Byron Bay Festival? It seems like when I finished my first race at the Byron Bay Festival, the game does not automatically put me to the next race. Do I have to ask “Anna” where to go next after the first race? And do I need to go through all the 30 Bucket List races in order to level up at the Byron Bay Festival?
When I am at the Byron Bay Festival, I ask Anna for help and she would take me to all of these Bucket List races. Are the Bucket List races help me to level up in the Byron Bay Festival.
This game is very confusing for me because I am new. It’s like you need someone from T10 to sit next to me and show me how to play this game. This game got some serious Usability issues and T10 should hire some Usability experts to help them with this game. There are so much going on and including the difficult to understand the map. What does all of the icons on the map even means???
But there is a lot to like about Horizon 3. I really like the landscape of Australia and the cars and the fantastic graphics. They just need to make the game easier to navigate. Like after I finish a race, the game does not tell me where to go so I am just sitting there for an hour to see what will happen next. It just kind of left you hanging.
Go to the map (press menu button and map should then be the option you are already on) and look for any coloured symbols or question marks. At least one of them should be a PR stunt.
Or ask Anna for nearest PR stunt, or just ask her what to do. She may say PR stunt or race.
Just drive to a small colored icon on the map and play whatever is happening there (a race, a drift zone, a speed zone, a danger sign jump, etc). When you see bigger circles, do those activities as well (purple = barn find, yellow = a drivatar to race and beat in a head to head race). If anything is too difficult, just skip it for now. When you see showcase signs, do these as well. Also listen to the voices of Keira and Warren, they will also say to you what to do from time to time. If needed, go to the HUD settings and activate subtitles.
When you gather enough fans (blue bar top right of the screen) you can either build a new festival location or expand an existing one. These will give you more small icons on the map. Once you expanded a few times there will be lots of small icons on the map.
Eventually you will have all 4 festival sites at level 5.
