I never noticed this before with other cars but I just bought a GT500 from the AH and 3 of the masteries are unlocked? I thought they were reset when the car was sold? How are you supposed to tell which masteries are unlocked when you are buying a car?
Just like in real life buying used car there is allways some risks and no, there is not anyway to know witch perks are allready used.

Once they are used, they are used regardless of owner. They do not reset when transferring ownership. There is currently no way to tell which ones if any have been used before purchasing a car.
Oh well that sucks. Guess I’ll delete it and buy another one, this one feels dirty and gross.
Yeah, would be nice if you could see what was used up! I buy up all the NSC-R 05’s I can to use the CM to get the CR out of them and them flip them since they are so easy to get rid of. Tried grabbing another 300SL to get the FE Car out of it, but it was already used!
I randomly buy a few Formula drift cars cheap(under 30k) once in a while, about half are used up, half not, just delete them, don’t bother with the auction. If one in 4 is unlocked it’s worth the effort. It’s about all they’re good for. The Porsche 3.3’s are always used up @15K, I just buy and delete them myself from the autoshow new to burn skill points. Every now and again I buy the big dollar classics at a discount for my collection at the AH that have all the perks still, with a good deal sometimes the car ends up free, and you can always sell them for something.
