BUGS in the September XBOX ONE update that is affecting SOUND on my console

I have two issues since the latest September Xbox One update:

  1. I cannot record clips with sound
  2. My menu music, though enable and the volume set to where I’ve always had it, is not playing when navigating the menus – there is this weird silence I cannot stand. Also, when racing in FM5, there is very soft background music, not at the same decibel as before the update, but much lower.
    Microsoft, please correct these issues ASAP - thanks!

Yes you are correct !!! The very same company as T10. As the saying goes if you don’t ask you don’t get??? That been said it would be interesting if other users are suffering the same issues.

My clips didnt have sound but i rebooted the console and it worked just fine after that

Microsoft issue bud, not Turn 10. Totally different things.

  • Try doing a full restart of your console, holding the Xbox button on the console until it shuts off.

  • If that doesn’t work, obviously make 100% sure all audio settings, Xbox and Forza, are correct.

One last note: if those two don’t work, it MAY be an issue with the update. Not meaning to disclose anything, but I’ve gotten several updates over the past week, as I’m in the beta program.
