[BTM] Yakov Alfa's Designs | 2016 Dodge Viper ACR (5/29)

You’d think with all of my “free time” I’d have actual free time. Nope, busy 24/7… Alright, it’s been nearly a month with nothing new, time to fix that!

This past week I launched Alpha Motorsport. AMS will act as the official home for all of my designs and tunes. The biggest change that comes with this is that I will no longer be doing things completely solo; on occasion I may release creations made by other members of the crew. Basically, this thread will now act as home to all AMS creations, not just my own. The first two creations of AMS are a specially built Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR and Ferrari 599Deuce-X. These cars are painted in the signature AMS green/silver/carbon-fiber livery designed to highlight each car’s bodywork lines. To complete the car, each one is tuned to its maximum potential. These “AMS Editions” represent the absolute best AMS can provide.

The Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR AMS

The Ferrari 599Deuce-X AMS

Want them? Good news, you can get them both for free! Simply post a time better than 2:00.000 in the Ferrari Kaido Challenge, then message me to claim your prizes once the comp ends. You’ll need to hurry though, the comp ends February 13th. Also, aside from winning them as prize cars through voldemortt’s comps, these cars will be unobtainable to non-AMS players, so be sure to get to lapping if you have any interest in these cars.

That’s it for this overdue update, later!

I had some time to go back and update my Team Oreca SRT Viper GTS-R livery, as well as make a new police interceptor livery for the Saleen S7.

My [V2.0] Team Oreca SRT Viper GTS-R livery!

My original Saleen S7 police interceptor livery!

Both paints are now available in my storefront for free! I’ve also got a large number of designs that I’d like to get started very soon, though I haven’t had much motivation to paint lately. Throw in the fact that GTA Online heists are coming out this Tuesday and it becomes impossible for me to provide a timeframe for the new designs. Still, they should be ready by the end of the month, so keep an eye out for them!

AMS member and friend voldemortt has launched his latest forum comp! The idea is to showcase “The Best of the British,” putting the player in control of the Aston Martin DBR9 around Silverstone International. You can win 10M CR just for beating voldemortt’s best lap (and who knows, maybe there’ll be some prize cars from me), so be sure to check out the thread and get to lapping!

That’s all I’ve got for this post, later!

nice! thanks for bumping this to the top here - I missed seeing this before now - Is there any chance this could find its way onto, say, the 1999 Dodge Viper, Yakov? (I don’t have this DLC car pack :frowning:

It’ll take me a little while to get the design adapted properly, but yeah, I’ll work on it for you. I’ll hit you up once it’s done. : )

Those of you who have ever had a conversation with me will know that I’m a massive Lamborghini fan, so this latest replicar was inevitable…

My 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV replicar!

Paint features include a custom front fascia, stylized side skirts, SV badging, custom rear fascia and diffuser, and engine air intakes. Tune features include a naturally aspirated V12, 740HP, 538lb-ft of torque, 3,361lbs total weight, carbon ceramic brakes, a stiff and highly responsive suspension, improved chassis rigidity, 255mm front and 335mm rear tires with 20” front and 21" rear rims. Handling is glued, precise, and responsive. Drivers of all skill levels will find the car highly capable, and there’s plenty of potential available for higher skilled drivers. I personally run consistent low 1:29s, with the occasional high 1:28s around Mazda Laguna Seca.

This replicar will be an auction house exclusive, with there being 12 different color variants. Each unit costs 493,000CR (the car’s real world MSRP). As with all of my AHEs, you can request custom colors or any other modification be made to a 750-4 SV that you want to purchase.

The 12 color variants available are:

Rossi Bia

Arancio Atlas

Giallo Maggio

Giallo Orion

Verde Mantis

Verde Bosco

Blu Cascata

Blu Hera

SE30 Jota

Bianco Isis

Azzuro Thetis

Grigio Antares

Hopefully that will hold you over until my next update, later!

I made a near replica of Travis Pastrana’s 2010 Red Bull Subaru WRX STi for March’s KoTT, but forgot to post it in my own thread…

I would have rather done a full-on replica, but due to several paint glitches and the layer limit it was impossible. I’m still really happy with how it turned out though. For those interested, the paint is available in my SF for free! Just search for designs for the 2008 Subaru WRX STi and use the keyword “Pastrana.” And while it’s only been available for about a week it’s already gotten into the Most Downloaded tab of the storefront!

Alright, that’s it for this post, later!

I kinda forgot to add two of my prize cars to this thread…

The McLaren F1 GT AMS Edition

The Aston Martin V12 Zagato AMS Edition

These were exclusive prize cars for AMS member voldemortt’s Best of British Challenge. The F1 GT AMS was available to anyone who participated in the comp by posting a lap time, and the V12 Zagato AMS was available to anyone who beat the target time of 1:16.117. While the comp ended on March 31st, being as I should have posted here about the prize cars sooner I’ll extend the date to win the prize cars to the end of this month. If you want the cars just go to voldemortt’s storefront, grab the paint and tune, post a replay of your lap time to the storefront, and let me know what your best lap was and on which lap. We’ll then setup a time to get you each of the prize cars you’ve won.

Later!

Guess I never realized voldemortt was in your club, Alfa. Would love to hear about AMS ;). Members? How long has the club been active? Would love to hear more about a still active Forza 4 club. Seems to be fewer and fewer these days

Well this is gonna be a massive write up… Eh, I’ve been meaning to make one for awhile now so I’m glad you brought it up. ; )
I started Alpha Motorsport on February 3rd of this year. My goal for the club was to put skilled content creators alongside rookies. The veterans would continue making their usual stuff, while also providing feedback and assistance to the rookies in an effort to keep FM4’s UGC alive. AMS does the typical stuff like circuit, drag, and drift, but we also do graphic design, performance engineering (tuning), and Forzatography. We’re still a new club, but we’re off to a pretty good start and I’m looking forward to the future. Most importantly though, I’m hoping to help our apprentice members develop their content creation skills so that these last days of FM4 are filled with new and exciting content.
We currently have 22 members (if I include myself); 6 veterans and 16 apprentices.
| Veterans |
DevoGT: Livery Artist, Tuner, Drag Racer, Forzatographer | I met Devo last year through him buying some of my replicars. He makes a massive variety of replica and original drag racing liveries, including the COPO Camaro, the Mustang Cobra Jet, and the Challenger Drag Pak. He also makes some of the most competitive drag tunes available.
GTP EnzoGuy: Tuner | I met Enzo while bidding against him in the auction house. We had a short, friendly conversation, after which he let me have the cars. He’s an expert at tuning transmissions, and he posts very useful pieces of information here on the forums.
ShaDoWBlaDeZ79: Co-Leader, Tuner, Circuit Racer | I met Shadow shortly after FM4’s launch through my original car club, The Black Wolves. He makes custom street and track tuned cars. His street cars are meant to be extremely quick on a track while remaining street legal. His track cars are also extremely quick, but he goes all out as they’re intended for track use only.
Superjerber: Co-Leader, Tuner, Drag Racer, Drifter | Just like Shadow, I met Superjerber shortly after FM4’s launch through TBW. He makes circuit, drag, and drift tunes. Each tune he makes is fully optimized for its given purpose.
voldemortt: Tuner, Livery Artist, Circuit Racer | I met voldemortt through his FM.net forum competitions. He runs monthly forum comps, each one utilizing tunes and paints that he creates. He’s very good at making really quick cars that almost everyone can run easily, unlike some tuners who make cars that only highly skilled drivers can handle.
Yakov Alfa: Leader, Livery Artist, Tuner, Circuit Racer, Drifter, Drag Racer, Forzatographer | I do literally everything FM4 has to offer, which allows me to help AMS members with whatever they need. Be it testing a tune, assisting in livery creation, taking pics of their creations for them, etc. I do my best to help where I can.

So yeah, there’s Alpha Motorsport. : )

I’ve got a brand new prize car for voldemortt’s latest forum comp, the Monoceros Challenge.

The Ferrari FDeuceX AMS Edition

Anyone who beats the primary challenge’s target time of 1:27:000 can claim this car. I’ve also brought back the 599DeuceX AMS, F1 GT AMS, and V12 Zagato AMS prize cars for this month. That means you can win up to four prize cars by competing in the Monoceros Challenge! Go run some laps!

Look what I’ve got!!!

IMO, not an easy car to replicate - I tried,. once… Great job Yakov!!! TAHNKS!!!

You beat me to posting pics of it! Lol

No problem man, and if you’d like anything else just let me know and I’ll look into it!

The second gen Vipers have tons of paint glitches, so making a proper Oreca livery is close to impossible. I got tired of trying to work around the wonky mapping and just went with an “inspired by” livery. If you’d like a proper replica check out RTDes’ storefront, he’s got all the years and liveries for that car in his storefront. Perfect quality too.

Good to know ;] - Great idea/concept - pulling in “rookies” to still keep 4 active - “props” to you and the club ;] Maybe put together our forces and brains to keep the game AND the forums active ;]

I’ve been seeing lots of new players jumping into FM4 recently, so there’s plenty of new talent waiting to be found.

Thanks for the props! Ah, now you’ve got me thinking about airplanes… Lol

If you ever come up with any BTM+AMS ideas just let me know, I’d love to hear 'em! ; )

Official AMS Member #20…gives me an Idea. Gotta hit the Paint shop. Thanks Alfa for the above cars. Will keep in touch. Great community here.

Great to have you with us, welcome to AMS! ; )

New month, new challenge, new prize car!

The Lamborghini Aventador AMS Edition!

The AMS Aventador is an exclusive prize car for voldemortt’s latest comp, the Herbie Challenge. Anyone who beats voldemortt’s target time of 1:51:371 can claim the car.

Of course, that’s not the only prize car… Just by posting a lap time you can claim a special VW Beetle I’m currently working on (and am hoping to reveal soon), and if you post at least one pic in the comp thread you can claim any of the eight variants of my Aventador SV replicar! Up to 3 prize cars and a big chunk of CR up for grabs; go get involved, and most importantly, have fun! ; )

I’m also happy to announce that we’ve got a new veteran at AMS, GTP EnzoGuy! I’ve added him to the team list along with a quick description of how I met him and what he does.

That’s it for now, later!

PM sent if you could check it out when you get chance.

I’m a big fan of Tanner Foust; who he is and what he does. While I’m working on his GRC Beetle at the moment (yep, it’s coming!), it’s a little time consuming… It’s not gonna be finished before this month is over, and I really liked the look of the Foust Edition Beetle. It’s a much simpler design so it would take less time to make, so I decided to make that for the short term.

The Foust Edition Volkswagen Beetle!

This was the participation prize car for voldemortt’s Herbie Challenge, which ended a little while ago. At this time the car isn’t available, but I’m planing on putting the design in my storefront for free in a few weeks. I’ll post back when it’s up, but until then, take care!

I wanted to add some more color options to the Aventador SV’s lineup, so I went and mixed up four brand new colors. Two are original colors, two are factory colors.

Giallo Orion (Factory)

Verde Bosco (Original)

Blu Cascata (Original)

SE30 Jota (Factory)

The four new colors will be sold alongside the eight original colors through the auction house. Keep an eye out if you’d like a copy, or feel free to message me directly if you want one put up for you. Thanks for stopping by, later!
