BTCC for Forza Motorsport?

I’m an avid fan of the British Touring Car Championship and since the release of 7, I’ve been hoping for a collaboration between Forza and the BTCC. Might be a longshot but any chance of it eventually happening in the next game? Not sure if this has been posted in the past.

Motorsport games has a deal in place where it will produce the Touring Car games, it’s due for release in 2022.

What I assume this to mean is that Forza won’t have the official BTCC cars due to licensing issues.

:edit:

Saying that though F1 cars have appeared in FM7 when Codies held the F1 licenses, so who knows.

I literally came here to suggest the very same thing! Forza Motorsport Designers: please go to Motortrend On Demand & watch the first 7 minutes of Top Gear (UK) Season 12 Episode 4 & see if you aren’t inspired to put together a BTCC history/career/championship. Starting with the 1940’s and working up through the 2020’s, it would be great fun. Maybe you could even have May, Hammond, & Clarkson do intro voiceovers again.

As for the cars, some are already in FM: Aston Martins, Jaguars, Minis, Capris, Escorts, Cortinas, Holdens, Mustangs, Falcons, Vectras, Alfas, and the legendary Sierra Cosworth. There are a few classics missing, like the Jaguar Mark I, so hopefully you could fill those in.

Thanks!

I think a BTCC supported championship is highly unlikely but I do feel there is a lack of RWD touring car options. Why was the BMW 125i removed from the game? Add it back and develop a 3 series touring car.
