Try taking your game to another xbox one before you go buy one… if it works on somebody elses you know for a fact that it isnt the game. Im guessing it has something to do with your connection
Because Forza uses the cloud for multiplayer it could be that your router is not allowing the connection to the cloud to take place.
The process is called IPSec. Check your router and ensure that this is enabled.
Just to be sure I would ensure that your NAT is showing as OPEN not STRICT !

I’ve been through my router about 15x to see if that could be it and after checking everything everyone’s been saying its setup correctly it just doesn’t work

The fact that you can play other games suggests that your connection is fine and not a NAT issue. It sounds more like a IPSec issue that’s just not connecting to the cloud. There’s plenty of others reporting this same issue and pinning it to the IPSec.
Im also sorry if I’m repeating things you’ve already tried, I know how frustrating these things can be.
When you reset your xbox one did you remove it from the mains for 30 seconds, this helps the unit clear any cache it may have.
Also, try changing the power settings under the options tab. If you have instant on checked un-check that box and automatic updates.
Then do a full reboot by holding down the power button. Apparently theres a bug with the instant on that doesn’t allow UPNP to work on your router.

Ok here once again is another update the game wasnt the issue… big suprise now microsoft is telling me theyre dona and theres nothing further they can do and turn 10 doesnt have an email i can contact so here i am once again, i just bought titan fall and i can play that and its only online battlefield 4 works online so why is this the only game!!!

Hey, made an account specifically to say that I have the same problem. I used to be able to connect to multiplayer, but then I took out my LAN cable to use with my Xbox 360 and once I put it back in the One all I get is a couldn’t join the server message.
Like you, I’m not too sure what to do now really 
Yeah I’m in the same boat. No other xbox live connection issues, open NAT, online play with other titles, yet try and join or create an FM5 lobby… Cannot connect to server (or whatever it says)

Can someone please tell me how to contact turn 10 i cant find way to get a hold of them and i just want to play the game.
You will get an auto reply - and may never get a direct reply but this is your best option. Give the email a sensible heading and include any information about your xbox, gamertag and setup (wired/wireless etc). If there is something they can do it may take some time (and given most can get online there may be an issue out of T10s control).

Ok do there are a few of us having the same problem and who knows how many more that aren’t on the forum. So when do we get an answer on how this is to be fixed or are we doomed to never play with anyone online?
