can anybody confirm if each garage is separated in regards to what 3-4 cars you choose to display?? no information has explicity stated that if i choose 3 cars for one house does that mean the other houses allow me to display different cars or are they all locked to the same 3-4 cars?
Before now you were never let into your own house. You could only loiter in your own drive way. The missus spent several years being mad at you I guess.
She’s cooled down a little bit now. Now she lets you sleep in the garage. ![]()
You’ve also got a town you can actively build and work on now? That’s a big step forward in making the map your neighbourhood.
i appreciate the humour in that and the step forwards they have made. Mainly asking for a straight forward answer from them regarding this feature. Yes its a step in the right direction, however if your going to do it, why not do it right the first time? This game will potentially have close to 1000 cars during its life cycle - and i hope they dont imply that you can only pick 3 favourites out of the entire roster to display…
I wanted to ask if we know how The Estate and EventLab will handle elevation this time around.
EventLab Island was cool for building on but the plain grey floor and the lack of elevation was a big issue, they seem to have fixed the big grey floor but I havnt heard anything about how elevation will play a part, all my tracks on eventlab island are flat.
Are there going to be tools to make it easier to work with elevation changes in event lab?
FM8 only let you choose 4 cars to display at any one time and I think it will be the same in FH6.
I’ve never used the Creative Lab, but there’s been many races in the Forzathon Playlist that have had elevated sections. There’s another one that has been featured on YouTube that is a tower, that requires a lot of skill and patience to climb to the top. So there must be sections of road that have an angle or can be angled in order to create ramps leading up to another level.
There are ways to do it depending on what it is you are trying to create.
I like creating life like circuits, not replicas but tracks that look like they are, you cannot make these tracks with elevation changes on eventlab island without using techniques that are quirky and not very pleasant to work with.
Also my issue with how eventlab island works in fh5 is that you can create elevation changes but you cannot easily get the geometry to match the road pieces, So you use a ramped road piece, you cannot easily get the ground to match the slope of the ramp.
A bit like terraforming terrain.
The most aesthetically pleasing elevation I have managed is a curved ramp surrounded by trees then a straight flat bit and then another curved ramp coming back down surrounded by trees to create a bridge over another piece of road. it is difficult to create a life like race track with enough elevation without it looking out of place.
So I would be very interested if this problem has been addressed in fh6?
