For some reason my cars have started wobbling all over the track when watching replays, like there lagging! It’s only just started doing this buts it’s really annoying!! I’ve uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, restarted my career but still no joy, can’t anyone help or have the same problem??
Same issue here. At least I’m glad to know it wasn’t just me.
Mine’s beyond playable now, it’s stuttering during races now and not just replys!! It’s only Forza that’s doing this, Cod ghosts and fifa work perfectly!! Not happy. Cheers for letting me know not just me.
I had this issue. Full shut down of xbox sorted it.
Do you mean turning your Xbox off then on again? Mine’s been doing this for a week now. Or do you mean completely factory reset???
I’ve had the same problem since the last update! It only affects the replays, and restarting the box does not fix the issue!
Can you guys @ Turn 10 please help to eradicate this problem! It’s similar to playing online with a bad network connection, where the cars jump up and down on the track, but instead of jumping up and down, they are moving stuttering back and forth!
You probably have but try shutting xbox down completely and unplugging power supply. This is what fixed mine
Homerjsamus you’re a legend! You were absolutely spot on. Once I unplugged the Xbox One and plugged it in again, started the console up, the replays in Forza 5 were not stuttering anymore!
I was saying that it happened after the last update! Who knows, maybe when Microsoft updated a driver or patched the OS, it was supposed to update fine without restarting the console! However I can only assume that for some strange reason the hardware had to be literally disconnected for the patch to work properly instead of just restarting the console.
It would be interesting to find out if this was the reason for the glitch, or if it had something to do with the consoles memory!
Thanks again buddy for solving the issue!
Yep mine’s the same, cars just jump all over the track like I’m playing online with a bad connection. It’s ruined the game completely. I’ll try unplugging the power supply after work and let you know if it works, but I highly doubt it. Think turn 10 need to look into this sharpish. Cheers for all your info tho and let me know if anyone gets this problem sorted.
Seems to be a memory leak in the Xbox OS
Shut down the Xbox One and unplug the power supply will reset the memory and everything should be fine again.
Alternatively, you could just turn the “instant on” mode off in the Xbox ones settings. Or you can press and hold the power button on the X1 for a few seconds, it forces a full restart of the console.
I will try that when I get home. Thanks for the information guys.
Cheers jasonr71, glad it sorted it for you. Catch you on the track.
Legends guys, all working great again. Got my favourite game back. Thanks so much for your help
I recently got FM5, and noticed the frame stutters right away (both race and replays), not to mention the sound bug.
Power cycle/hard reset cures the sound bug issue, and maybe reduces the stutters but they never go away completely. I’ve noticed on some tracks, they tend to occur at the exact same spot on the first lap only. And after that, it’s random. But not too frequent. On Lemans, more noticeable for example, on Spa or Indianapolis less. Like I said, random.
The hard reset also makes other sound bugs go away: engine sounds around you cutting in and out.
So no patch pr update I guess? FM6 a few months away from release…
Gosh I hope we don’t get issue like that in 6!
Hope this helps anyone facing these issues. Happy motoring!
