Better night lighting at the house

I don’t know if anyone finds this annoying but doing any visual upgrades (like rims, paint etc) at your house during the night is extremely difficult. Every time it’s the night I wait for the day time do any such upgrades. I just want better outdoor lighting near the car so that it’s not so painful to do them during the nighttime ( I know it’s a very minor thing but I personally find it quite annoying).

I do all my tuning work at one of the festival sites to avoid this.

Yeah, I guess that’s the best option when it’s night but I would just prefer being able to do it at the house as well.

Its never going to be fixed, like the general broken illumination when driving some races at night or in freeroam. You should get used to go to the festival whenever you need to do anything with customization. It takes only a couple of seconds anyways.

Or even if it’s too difficult to add lighting, add an option to change time of day in the preview. If you spend enough time painting, you’d be spending multiple day cycles as is.

Yeah I’d even settle for them making daytime the default time of day when doing upgrades

Yeah but it’s not like a bug though, it seems more like a design choice to not have proper lights at the houses and even though it’s for sure a very small inconvenience, it still annoys me.

It wouldn’t be classed as a bug, but it would be classed as a mistake. The photo mode also changes with time, and goes totally white… that’s a bug.

Each house appears to have 3 lighting modes. Daylight, Dusk, and Night. I don’t know why they don’t just allow us to cycle through them.

I can only recall it going from light to dark in the house. I don’t think it gets light again and I’ve been trying to pay attention for a couple of months. Often when it’s dark in the house and I’m tired of waiting through it I will exit the house and find it midday in free roam.

That is a bug. Enough with the excuses.

I’ve noticed that happening to me a couple of times as well, kinda breaks the immersion.

We all know its a bug.

But unless they invest A LOT of effort and time looking over the whole game engine coding and the lighting system, they are not going to be able to fix it.

And we all know by now that will never happen, so people need to just get used to it. Maybe they learn the lesson and they avoid buying the next forza horizon title (finally, at last…) in the franchise.

You cant play some races because its too dark at night? too bad for you. Move on. This is not me, that is how the devs think.

This would all be a moot point if they’d just give us a garage at each property. Then we just roll the car in to the garage if we want to work on it. You know, like people do in the real world. Hell, you could even have the interior be identical in each garage, to save on production time.

Yeah kinda how they do it GTA V or like the house in crew 2 where you can even have some cars on display. They could also just take the garage they have in the festival sites and add those to the houses also doing any kind of upgrade in a garage rather than out on the road seems more realistic anyways.

Painting indoors in Forza is not a good idea, because they use indoor lighting which is orange. If you want true paint colours you have to paint outside in the games regular lighting… and in the day.

You’re a multi multi millionaire and yet you can’t afford spotlights under which you can properly finesse your latest babe magnet.

I would suggest that this implausibility be remedied.

The lighting is often poor at the festival site if your car curves horizontally and some cars are poor at the front/back no matter where you put them. For me, the Shelby Daytona is what comes to mind as a frustrating example of the latter.
