I’ve seen a few posts on the poorness of quality of the new engine sounds as well as some people debating what is to them the best engine sound. Nowhere within any of those threads did I see the new 720s brought up in the regards I think it deserves. I know many people received them as a reward, so someone must have driven it and heard the feral growls that car produces. I’ve never heard a 720 in person but I have seen many 650’s and that engine is to my knowledge just the preceding version of the engine in the new 720, but they don’t sound anywhere near as viral ingame or irl. The pops, barks and burbles of the 720 ingame is the most unique car, acoustically, I am yet to come across in 15 years of Motorsport racing. What do you think, am I spouting heresy, or is the 720s really the most advanced, aesthetically inclined, and acoustically magnificent sports car to be produced to date. And btw I am not entirely baised, I was once such a big fan of Ferraris I can still name more than 100 individual cars today, despite that, somehow a McLaren of all cars took the cake.
