Banned from FH4 for modding old FH3 account

Hey guys,

I have to write in the Forum because my Support page seems to be bugged, so that I can’t log in on the support page.

So, I have the following Problem:
Quite a while ago I wanted to play FH3 again. As I nearly had every car in FH3 I wanted to complete my collection (I think only 5 or so cars were missing). In doing so I didn´t want to grind for tons of money (albeit I may have had enough which is quite ironic tbh), so I edited my cash via Cheat engine. I have to say as well, that i’ve played exclusively the singleplayer features of FH3, maybe as an exception the auction house. After editing my cash, i was banned. It was only after my ban that I found out that there’s a Devbuild version of FH3, in which you can mod basically everything.

Long story short, I was Hardware-IP-banned for every Forza game. Since my Ban I wasn’t able to conatct any support member of Forza. All I ever got was an automatically generated text, that said that i was banned for modding my save in a game. I tried to explain my Situation but to no avail, sadly.

Maybe you guys can help me out. This is my last attempt of fixing this, because I’m pretty fed up. This is going on for like a month now.

Thank you.

Maybe as a side note:
I would be fully OK with staying banned on FH3 as I get that it’s not intended to mod one’s save. As foresaid, I only played offline so it’s fine by me.

Normally it’s not allowed to discuss bans here, so don’t expect the thread to last long.

On the subject: I think the support is the only address that might help you solve this.
The whole banning issue (reasons, form of suspension, length and so on) always seemed shadowy to me. One reported livery/tune could lead to a complete wipe of the storefront - even if said livery/tune didn’t hurt any agreements.
No compensation for wrongly wiped storefronts other than “sorry, we can’t restore it! You have to re-upload all your tunes/liveries again. All of your progress is gone. Have fun!”

I wouldn’t have the highest hopes in your situation.

Thank you for your reply!

As I said, I wouldn’t even have posted it here if my support window would let me log in.

It’s so annoying because I cannot even look at the support tickets anymore. maybe someone has a tipp on how I might get it functioning again.

Do you maybe have an external Emial adress i could use for contacting the support?

Thank you again!

The reason you cannot log to support is you are banned from there too. I guess it’s just a miss they did not ban you from forum too.

They are going very hard on whatever hack they can easily detect/confirm. Collateral victims like wrongly detected hacks are not even a question there ( accounts wrongly detected as hacked for new car liveries shared just after release ) . With millions of accounts, I guess the cost of a true ‘justice’ will affect the margins, so they do it robot mode.

Concerning your case, it’s time for you to find another game.

That’s said, better they do robot mode than nothing, thanks to their action AH is back to some interest even if not easy to use and the star 10 with 2 days of play are going less and less. Hope they will find way to get rid of those that are still managing to trick cars speed.

I don’t have an email address which you might be able to use. Max (or other moderator who closes this thread) might be able to help with contact details when they do close it. However, it’s not clear exactly what you hope to achieve. Ultimately, here you admit that you did precisely what you’ve been banned for. I don’t see you have much chance of persuading them to change this decision even if you do manage to contact them. Probably best to move onto a different series and not commit a ban-able offence on that.

My goal was to at least be able to play FH4 online again.

Should’ve thought about that before trying to hack/exploit/cheat the game, and makes no difference what your intentions were or how old the game is. Zero sympathy. :raising_hand_man:t2:

Maybe I can rephrase my initial point:
Iplayed FH3 offline. That’s why I thought it wasn’t this big of a deal and did it in the first place.
Again, staying banned in FH3 is completely understandable.

So what? After getting all that you wanted from hacking into the game today, what’s to stop you from deciding tomorrow to start playing online with all your illicit gains? Don’t say ‘your word’ because cheaters/hackers have literally zero credibility. And if you’re willing to have done it on h3, we’re supposed to just believe that you won’t do it here in h4? Pffffffft! You got what you deserve.

Enforcement issues are not open for discussion or appeal on the forums. I can only refer you to the Forza Enforcement Guidelines at Forza Support, particularly the section on Cheating.

To everyone else - “not open for discussion” includes the rest of the forum users. Do not reply to enforcement topics; these should be left alone only for moderator action.
