Sorry for this rant but i have to say i just spent good money on a TX Pro Racing wheel of which i am loving by the way, and while i really dont care if i am last at this stage
something needs to be done about the people ramming on this game.
I mean is this a sim racing / sim cade game or bumper cars & dodgems game ?
Whats worse is that i took it to the SP just to get good without hindering others anymore than i need too, yet this AI stuff where the handling is trained by actual racers seem to indicate on a mass scale
it is either not working correctly, or indeed further actions need to be in place to get people back on track in terms of racing myself included even if it was an acccident.
By this i mean people dont take note of cars behind (spacial awareness) people over take on a corner on the inside (which if you follow the line) you would go from outside, in, outside.
So coincidently its no surprise people get hit , i try very hard to stay on par with making sure every ounce of teh race is fair from myside (no dirty racing) but when your whole point of having fun is to race to see who the better person is.
It gets tedious especialy when people use the term “Rubbing Is Racing” and you know FACT its a whole lot more than that, should these people be allowed to ruin our fun for which we spent good money on.
Only to have them come in and race wreck because they think its funny ?
Hence i think IF it can be done if you hit a car to where the impact is over a certain percent, meaning that it wasnt a paint trade (The actuall rubbing is racing) then you should be DQ’d.
Maybe that will make racers start to think about how they drive in game and start racing smart like a race car driver would.
You may not be happy about the outcome but it sure as hell beats wanting to quit a game permanently because of a mass load of clowns, i see very few legitimate racers around and when you do you cant get a decent race because theres always someone out to destroy the game by race wrecking, or purposly wiping you out just to take your spot.
I have had this happen to me when i have been second to last whats sad is most of the time the player that wiped me out didnt even finish the race either, so i guess what im saying is what is the point in such filthy tactics i would say racing but thats precisely the point its not racing its mindless vandlism on a race track
Thats easier said than done on the rare occasion i remember a name from a previous series of races, just adding random strangers doesnt go down to well.
but that said if this was a majority vote for DQ’s about dirty racers from OP , the most likely outcome is the said dirty racers would win, over all i would say 90% of races at 90% of the time there are wreckers who have no intention of racing propperly. And with the said layout you CANT even join a private lobby anymore i think that a big bold move on T10’s part because you could be sure 90% of the time they were good drivers doing good tracks.
Now what were lumbard with hopper lobbies the world and his wife and cant get a good race.
Im not quite sure why you pointed that out, it matters not of the suggestion that was made, as the debating topic is of that and the way people treat this game.
As in there reactions and yes the title is bad drivers should be DQ’d but thats just my personal opinion on the matter, how T10 handles it IF they ever do is there business.
I lituraly just did a single player race and had the AI jump the chicane on SPA to take my position not only losing me a place but not even keeping to the track, do you not think it comes to something when your beat through pure crap driving, being blocked endlessly (where the car in front knows full well it cant keep up) with you but wont let you past and eventually you find that spot and get side swiped trying to take clean ?
Or your in a race and one person or another is race wrecking on purpose because they think its funny to pee off the others, if it was one or two i could live with it but its not its redonkulous how many people are at it.
Claim there good yet you watch rivals drift or racing and you see how filthy they cut corners sprint in the inside edge of a turn cutting up your race line eitehr throwing you out or causing a needless crash all so they can get that spot on the cheap ?
We cover this information at least once a month, and the system is what it is:
Those you spot glitching or wrecking people and ruining normal game play, should be REPORTED by going into VIEW GAMER CARD, then Report or block, followed by Report, then select Unsporting behavior. There is then a box to fill in “CRASHER” - disruptive in races, causes wrecks, etc. Followed by Report to Xbox.
If you have the accurate gamertag, in the Xbox One Dashboard, go to Friends, in the left column use either “Recent Players” or “Find someone” and put the tag in there. The same reporting system as above is in effect, and you can file the report there.
This sends a report directly to the Xbox LIVE Policy Enforcement Team which will investigate, maybe even visit and observe the offender during gaming sessions, and then ban that person from not just a single game but Xbox LIVE itself.
