After having reached again the limit for number of cars and being kind of forced to search for cars to ‘remove’ , now I am back to the max number of tunes reached.
I am supposed to PLAY, to have fun, not to do the house cleaning in the dark
That is why changing the limit was not the good thing to do in a first place.
This post is first to see if we are so few to suffer this baked feature.
What is needed could be put in the wish-list
Indicator of a car having tunes ( just a number next to the car would be enough )
possibility to filter on car having tunes
Creative board showing all the tunes ( not only the one shared ) and possibility to delete directly and number of downloads ( this last one missing is more a bug to me )
Indicator indicating if a tune is currently used by some car of the owner / sometimes I have several duplicate, several tunes, just imagine the time loss to sort out which tunes are used and which are not …
End of day, currently, there is simply nothing done to make tuning management user friendly, nothing.
After I can understand vast majority are just downloading tunes with max PI or max download…
Well orginal limit was so small that it was really needed they increase that (we have something like 650 cars so 300 limit is way too small)
I have favored every car where i have saved tune to help to know what car have tune that is saved.
Creative hub is really bad because it’s not even show all shared tunes (or liverys) it’s just show 255 most popular ones so for me personaly it’s nightmare sharing new tunes when first need to find tune that is not so popular and going thruw 500 cars and write up numbers takes few full day.
I just imagine how much frustration it can be. I am only doing tunes for fitting my wishes and as a complementary challenge of the playlist. I do that for fun, I don’t want to spent my fun time doing the house/FH cleaning.
Grab 1-3 big beers, load your playlist and start cleaning for 30 minutes. That’s it.
I knew, i tuned much porsches. So these cars i needed to check first. And tadaaa maybe 20 tunes i could delete.
An maybe 30 cars too. And 30 minutes are really not much.
Given that it takes more than 60 seconds to load into a new car, and easily 30 seconds to pull up the car selection screen, I say not likely.
Tilo38 is right - more like 30m to remove 5 tunes. Part of why I rarely tune or play anymore. Garage is full again, tunes too, and fighting with the crappy UI to delete things is the opposite of fun.
Since it seems like all they can build anymore is lists of things, why can’t we get a functional list of tunes we can delete from?
I would be curious to have PG/T10 explaining us the logic of displaying some of the shared tuned in creative hub with the only possible actions : Report and download
Ok, so, when it was developped, the guys went for feature review with managers , well,
Dev : each player will be able to report his own tunes …
manager … great
Dev : and even more, each player will be able to download his own tunes
