I LOVE THE GAME !
the best:
-FFB in the gravel/dirt is awesome, dirt4/rally/wrc7/Vrally4 are awfull, i feel like i drive with Richard burn rally, it’s so good than a DLC map with onle"off road", gravel and dirt road (instead of ice blizzard map from FH3 could be epic !
-FFB on tarmac is better, it’s always “light”, but it’s better, better than FH3 and better than F7.
-Finally official support for th8a and handbrake.
-Graphics are EPIC, i play at 1440p EXTREME( nice now we have better than ultra) at 80-110fps with a 1080ti (with 144hz gsync)
-We can remove a lot of HUD for pure racers.

The negative:
-I don’t know or i doubt we can automatically switch to manual gear+clutch to autoclutuch for a car with paddles shifters…so we are forced to go in the options each time :slight_smile:
-Too much icons, pop-up message on the screen, we really feel it’s made for kids, but can kids play with a 10 000$ rig ?
-no way to remove the checkpoint HUD on a race, maybe with a tool later…

the BEST point for me is the FFB in the gravel, it’s epic. i use a wheel, and it’s very very very godd ! i have bought today AC competizione, and i feel disappointed and bored after only 1hour, finally this “sim” is not really a sim and each year i think that forza(horizon and motosport) is better than these “sim” (i just admit rF2 FFB is superior)
And thanks to windows suppport to have refunded me Forza 7, i can pre-order FH4 .

I’m frustrated,

I really enjoyed the camera effects implemented in Forza Motorsport 7, especially when we doing drifting turns. With the advent of new drift steering bars, I thought the camera effects would continue. But it seems that everything on TV has returned to static, as it has always been, as it is in all other games.

Totally agree with OP. I play on Fanatec CSW v2.5 with the Fanatec shifter and handbrake and everything works. FFB feels amazing. The main reason I played the demo was to confirm that my wheel works.

The option with manual+clutch increases the difficulty and gives a higher bonus, so I doubt it will be possible to automatically switch, although I would love that option and not care about the 5% bonus decrease.

Fanatec CSL Elite (PC/XBOX) version here and can say it feels awesome on the demo. Got a TH8A Shifter as well and everything works out of the box, been having a blast. No single core cpu spikes & very smooth gameplay at Ultra/Extreme @ 3440x1440 with 1080Ti, Ryzen7 1800X.
