Thank you to everyone at turn10 for making a fantastic game. I just want to give my 2 cents about the good and not so good on the off chance the right person/s may read this.
I use a Fanatec CSW v2.5, V3 pedals, SQ shifter and handbrake, so firstly I want to say the Force feedback is superb. It took some tweaking but I’d give it 9/10… one of the most enjoyable FFB experiences I’ve had. Could just use some ‘road feel’. Having the ‘driver view’ for wheel users is great and thanks for finally implementing the fanatec handbrake, it vastly improves the experience.
Graphics are obviously spectacular but I feel some of the engine sounds need revamping, most importantly the Ferrari’s. The Mclaren’s sound awesome. I can’t stop driving the P1. I heard the old sound designer went to Grand Tourismo but if you could give him a ring and borrow the Ferrari sound files from FH2 I’d be forever grateful.
A.I Traffic is a bit too sparse, especially in free roam and can be a bit ‘dumb’ at times.
Those are the most important points I wanted to make and if they were addressed, this would be a perfect game, despite the following minor issues;
- A.I transparency through drift/speed zones should be an option, at least in solo mode.
- More avatar options for brown people please.
- Ghost mode for mp races OR 3 touch disqualification that resets every minute. This would encourage people to at least try to drive cleanly.
- Indicator lights. Left and right d-pad/funky switch?
- Seamless expansions, though I know this is not an option at this point. I currently have no desire to wait 2 mins to load up a vastly smaller map despite that one good drift road.
- Make good with Toyota and Mitsubishi and add the MP4 12-C.
