Autumn #Forzathon Shop, Festival Playlist events and Rewards through May 21

Think that’s an S2 tune FN. Suspect you are actually using Ang3lr1pp3r’s tune for S1? I may not have all the numbers in the right place in his name there. Nice driving earlier by the way - we nearly dragged that team to the win :+1:.

I’m going to run the trial a few times now if anyone wants to convoy?

Oops I forgot it was S1… I just remembered the tune I was using the S2 RS200 from earlier. (I have two of those cars with an S1 and S2 tune so I don’t have to swap tunes for different class events.)

Yes, exactly I was using Ang3lr1pp3r’s tune, and yes I thought we would win that, never mind!

Pretty beefy trial this time. I even had to step back the first time in my horizon playlist history and take a break.

But I never give up. Lets get back into it and yolo it!

Haven’t tried the Trial yet but it looks like another annoying one. Yay.

So far I’ve used the 599xx for the speed trap and the RS200 Hoonigan for the speed zone and the jump.

The weekly was easy… just head over by Bamburgh castle and you can nail the Kangaroo skills easily and then you should just about immediately get the skill chain. I had that knocked out from start to finish in like 15 minutes.

For the hot hatch A600 race I used the Mk2 Golf GTI with WeiShaoXu699’s tune and it absolutely blew the competition away, I probably had the biggest margin of victory in a weekly in months with this car.

Make sure to buy the Mégane so you bypass Eliminator requirement.

I’ve driven the Puma in the Rivals event. One of the better slow cars in the game. IIRC the seats are uncolored (should be blue fabric in the middle), and the sound is the same from the Fiesta (and Focus, Mini, new Alpine, and counting…), but it’s a good car.

With regards to Trial, Capri FE is the only car with offroad tires, so it’s very OP.

If you don’t like the Trial, don’t do it? Anyone who has been playing the game a while doesn’t need any of:

  • the reward for the Trial
  • the reward for playlist 50% or 80% this week
  • the reward for playlist 50% or 80% this month
In fact all any of those things will do is create a garage maintenance chore by giving you more duplicate cars that you don’t have space for.

So just don’t do it and do whatever you do enjoy in the game instead!

Pretty much. It’s no different than minmaxing for an offline championship, difference is bragging rights if you win often.

There have been S1900 Rally Monsters Cross Country since the game’s release, everyone hates it, because it sucks. Playground knows about it (or at least should, lol), but they keep making these championships. Don’t like it? “Vote” with your time and don’t play it, or play the least possible. Simple.

The only good Rally Monsters at CC are the 959 Rally Raid and the Subarus, but definitely not at S1900! Only at A800 and Eliminator.

Yup! But if you are one of those people who like to 100% everything, your advice does not really help! :frowning:

Holy crap this trial, hope to never do it again … ever.
First try - I get pushed out of checkpoint by drivatar forcefield, or by their all over the place flight on all 3 races, we lost 3:0
Second try, again pushed out of checkpoint by forcefield on first race, most quit, get massively pushed out of checkpoint by player … quit and cool off
Third try, 2nd on first race, 1st on second and 6th on last one, where I got turned 90° by divatar or something. Won the trial 2:1
Trial: S1 900 Hoonigan RS200, tune - 545 011 302
or Opel Manta, tune - 697 565 946

So Jaaaag, could just take F-Pace S and be done with it, as SUV rocks in FH4, but took a normal car, put some better tires and suspension on it and went for it.
A 800 Jaguar XKR-S, tune - 131 766 346
or offroad Jaguar F-Pace S, with DJS tune

AWD all day championship, could take anything really, but I love DD trucks:
A 800 Ford F-150 Prerunner DD - tune - 171 071 708
or Jeep Wrangler Unlimited DD - tune - 824 909 208

Retro hot hatch from 90’s … personally don’t like VW, maybe could go with Clio, … but went for Prelude with stock tires, alternative is rally tired Fiesta
C 600 Honda Prelude SI, tune - 528 746 659
or Ford Fiesta XR2, tune - 146 288 640

Forzathon Mini X-Raid … tuned it to A 800, tune 139 891 325 (basically a DJS setup, but I can play with suspension), went to the beach for kangaroo skills and ultimate skill chains and used custom route at City Outskirts Cross country share code - 564 616 433

Stunts were easy, danger sign and speed trap done with offroad tuned Agera RS and speed zone done with S2 tuned Hoonigan RS200.

Good luck everyone

Edit
Sorry I messed up 90’s hot hatch, which Fiesta isn’t (being from 80’s …)
After playing around for a bit with rally tires on random cars, I realized its pointless, stock tires work just fine.
So here is me biting my tong C 600 VW Golf GTI MK2, tune - 964 252 327

Also an alternative, that can be bought from salon for AWD championship, since I listed only exclusive models.
AWD extreme offroad A 800 Ford #11 Rockstar F-150 Trophy truck, tune - 680 389 050

Trial: S1 900 1986 Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution, tune - 545 011 302
or Opel Manta, tune - 697 565 946[/quote]

Three-hours trying to complete The Trial today: the worst racing in long-long time.

A single race this evening and El Barto inc. delivers a fantastic tune.
We won the first race despite three folks rage quitting.
We won the second race and would’ve won the third had I not missed a flag.

It was all done so fast, I asked myself what do I do now? Well, by doing a Forzathon and it proved to be stable and fast again. Thanks for a very, very great tune.

Before this victory, I tried a couple of tunes using the 1973 Ford Capri RS3100 FE. These were good drivers but lacked the speed on the long runs to catch the opposition’s leaders.
AE86 Cowboy - 513 336 275
Uber Driving - 112 989 977

The Opel Manta was not used today but, maybe tomorrow when I try to boost wins for some other guys.

The problem is with the implementation of Cross Country, adding obstacles all over the track is just plain stupid. It is taking the lack of realism just too far. It is difficult and your average player is going to have a hard time with this. PG remember Storm Island? - just do it like that next time. CC was great there. Now I reset the game when I see it come up in ranked which is almost every time for me, it’s a cruel joke, Just no. Pretty much all I did in H2. Now I dread it.

The Puma is a great car, shame about the seats, still makes it 9.8/10 though, it has nice customization options and good performance.

Only thing worse than The Titan in Autumn is the Japanese Speed Challenge tracks from NFS ProStreet (name is censored, lol).

I’ve just spent a while trying to tune the Manta for the Trial. I can’t do it. It’s fine for race 1, I’ve won that the last two times now. But as soon as you get bumpy ground in the last 2 races, it just doesn’t have the stability, even though I’ve done everything that can be done, to the max, to the point of it now being barge-like going round corners on tarmac. But despite the rear end being glued to the ground on smooth terrain, on bumps it still just wants to get sideways.

I’ve now done the trial about 10 times. I think it’s a reasonably fair test (seemingly unless you are using a wheel - sorry Bree!). You really need to win the first two though, as most randoms struggle in the wet in the third race.

Id definitely stick to the Hoonigan RS200 as first choice. It’s quite light so the debris is annoying but it’s grip is immense. The Capri FE has less grip (or at least the tunes I’ve tried have) but more power and is less troubled by debris so that’s another option. It’s possibly quicker but harder to drive.

Only took me two tries but this sums up my experience as well. Was lucky enough to get matched with two Hoonigan RS200’s who carried the team. I brought the Capri FE since that’s what the initial posts recommended but it felt like a bucking bronco trying to control it. It could be just as good in the right hands though.

I aimed to win the first two races too and thank god I did. The third race is a nightmare. Cheap jump physics that bounces you around more than the Angry Video Game Nerd playing Sunday Funday.

Don’t forget, the Hoonigan RS200 is the 50% reward this season. If you don’t have it already, you might want to do some other events and come back to the Trial once you have it.

Did the Trial and won first attempt by using '85 Ford RS200 Evo with a tune by Don Joewon Song. This car and tune are my Trials preference for this category and class.

The first two races the team won but failed terribly in the third. This Trial is very challenging due to the hay bales and jumps make these cars unsettled.

The PUMA is a awesome car. rally beast. not quite as good as the RS200 but close for me.

If anyone haven’t finished trial yet, but want to do it - I can help. I will be online afternoon european time.

FN, Bree, Ripperoo - I was trying to invite you yesterday, but got no response.

I didn’t get any invites btw. Anyway I’ve done it now and can’t say I have much desire to do it again, it’s not one of the best.

Thanks for the offer ziperrPL

Done it now after about 25 attempts.

Never saw your invites yesterday though. Maybe my settings?
