Does anyone know how the starting and buyout price limits are determined when trying to sell a car in the auction house? I picked up my second Lola through Forzathon today and decided I’d sell it to make some extra money (I searched first and noticed several had high bids above 1mil). I added a couple upgrades to my car before trying to setup the auction. When I go to auction it the maximum starting bid I can select is 913,000CR and the maximum buyout I can select is 998,000CR. This makes no sense as if I go search for vehicles I see several with starting bids over 1,000,000CR and most have buyouts of 2,000,000CR or more (some as high as 20,000,000CR). Can someone please explain to me how this is?
Players with Elite or legend Painter/tuner status get a boost to starting/buyout prices on the auction house. As far as I know upgrades on the car make no difference.

Adding your own livery and own tune to a car raises the start and buyout price. Nowhere near as much as the legendary ‘perk’ though
What a shame… Putting people above others in a game… Somehow a sort of racism, but in a different way… But we have to live with it i guess.

Yes, it’s definitely racism because the server can tell what race someone is when the post items and purposely puts certain ones lower on the list so not as many people see them.

Read between the lines… I also get ingame extra’s for playing the game. The extra’s that new players won’t get. So it should have been clear that it was pure sarcasm. Just like someone said, putting a label on it nowadays. lol
