This issue also effects Barn-gifts. If you retrieve a gift with a livery, the livery is stripped (same error, but it only displays for a moment).

Been a good six months or so since I last had this issue.
Started again this week, even after downloading and installing the new update, this issue is back

Yeah. I doubt it will get fixed. iirc, this happened after we got the 1000 livery/tune increase. It feels like one of the variables within the programming associated with the collection of auctions/gifts still believes thereā€™s a limit of 500, so the error pops (just a guess tho).

I get this sometimes and I barely have a lot of liveries, and its annoying when you take hours to do a livery and then founding out it wont save and I wasted hours of my life.

This usually happens when my Xbox One ran most of the day and Iā€™ve found that restarting, leaving it to rest until later or turning my Xbox off and play the next day fixes this.

I know its an FH5 thing because in FH4 I have more liveries this never happens, just happens in FH5.

Itā€™s possible you have more liveries shared than are in your library. Search for a livery Any Make, Any Model, and your gamertag and see how many are out there. If you adjust a shared livery, you MUST unshare it first, or it creates a duplicate. Cleaning up dupe liveries is a pain, but itā€™s even worse for tunes and vinyls. Tunes and vinyls donā€™t actually unshare, you have to download them from the public library and then you can unshare. Same for cleaning up duplicate liveries - download from public library to local library and then unshare > delete.

Most of the time its fine but sometimes this happens.

Also tried reinstalling the game
Still persists ā€¦

I have given up trying to design new paint jobs or tunes to try and achieve Legendary status. This limit and the fact you have to delete individual tunes from each car is a pain and so time consuming specially when the game is so slow and seems to be getting slower to reload the screen. All that work or nothing. So many frustrating things that were not present in this respect with Forza Horizon 4.
