As if I needed more evidence that there are a lot of jerks on FH4

I race against the AI almost exclusively, after a few unpleasant experiences with live drivers that turned into demolition derbies of blocking and ramming. A little while ago I was driving along in my little Fiat 124 on my way from the coast out to the Goliath race, having a good time and minding my own business, when a convoy request came in. I’d never done that before but I was cruising along and feeling good, and just on a whim I invited him to join me. In no more than a few seconds he started ramming me heavily from behind and driving me off the road. Apparently he followed me out into the weeds and continued to ram me, until I mashed Alt-F4 and quit the game completely.

What is it with bozos like that?

I’ve experienced that too so I generally ignore convoy requests. Also had players using debris to ram. Pausing and leave convoy or switch to horizon solo works to get away.

Best off just sticking to yourself and people you know if they play.

Just playing the trial once a week is enough evidence for me that it isn’t worth engaging in any other activity with the typical FH4 player.

Tip: next time accept but change your car to Unimog.

The Mercedes 6x6 is a good alternative as well, and can actually fire up pretty quickly when modded right. Steers like a cow, though. lol

I suggest a label system, or ranking system to players, from other players; or I prefer the plan B which is a handle system, players can choose a custom handle such as “clean” or “dirty” or “uncertain”, if they act the opposite way, you have the video evidence and they got punishment; plan C is rather pessimistic, you cannot change other people, how they think or act, I can only change the way I think or feel, to think the rammer maybe just a child, or an adult who just lost his/her job, or having a life the opposite to yours, or even have incurable disease, maybe then will make it feel better.

These players are just desperate for physical contact as a result of Covid restrictions. Give them a nice big truck to rub against and you’ll be doing wonders for their mental health.
